p.s the checker doesnt say your entitled as such, it just says which areas were cold enough to have had a trigger set off, you need to be on the right benefits of course.Used the postcode checker and i am on the right benefits - also child under 5 - says entitled to 5 cold weather payments - received nothing yet????

yeah the letters do arrive well after the payments gone in.descartesmum wrote: »Yay!!
I received a letter last week stating that I would be getting a payment. I did. I haven't received since but received another payment today.
Make sure that you keep any receipts because if you complain that you didn't get a payment they can always say, which they did last year to me, that you did receive it.0 -
