Miggy thanks for that post, made me feel better xx

well apparently tonight we're cleaning up. I say apparently as the rubbish has sat on the kitchen floor for 2 days now ready to take out- I collected said rubbish from the bins and cat tray and OH only has to take it out on his way to work.

SO my plan is ease off completely on what I do for him. Why should I? I get little or no thanks, a complete lack of appreciation and effort plus he takes no responsibility.

    Rant over.

Yesterday was a LSD. I forgot to post the letters- am doing today so will be a LSD today as well but I went to St4rbucks for the freeeeeee lattttte which made me happy. Had to get my friends one each but had to pay but got it half-price? Basically I'm out by a matter of pence.

Also called Sky- I'm in contract til mid Aug so will call 32 days before then to cancel it all except internet/will check via quidco who the cheapest unlimited broadband provider is.

Today I will post my letters, have a night of pampering with my friend, organise my share of flat when I get home and look forward to Friday night! I will also call the vet!!

Slept for around 11 hours and I'm feeling fine!!

Have a good day everyone xx

ps quidc0 paid their cashback so:

    £15 from quidc0
    £35 in bank
    £51 in savings

=£101. Tonight is £40 so £61 for family event.

£25 available to borrow (may use this as p&p money for flebay sales then reimburse once funds clear from paypa1) I'm sure there's more coming in- flebay profit and fhopefully refunds too.

I bet when he was growing up his mum did all the housework - but when you were growing up it was shared around the family?

(If so could you ring his mum and ask her if she'd mind coming round 'cos it's her turn to take the bins? ;) Tell her to step round the woman with the placard on the doorstep: you're trying out the latest trend in home decoration).

Broadband - we had a door to door person last night who said TalkTalk have made us a free area - something about broadband in there but I have a bit of an allergy to doorstep sales so I just said thanks and I'd look into it. There might be just a chance it could apply where you live though?

    Eleven hours asleep sounds blissful!

May I ask about Quidc0? I have some money waiting to be collected in there for the first time ever but when I tried to sort out getting it out they seemed to be asking for a lot of sensitive details that I hadn't expected. Is that normal? I backed off just in case I'd got into some sort of scam site without noticing though otherwise it all seemed okay (well I suppose it would). I do want my money :) but I just need to be happy they can't get anything out of my account!

Enjoy tonight - nice to have that to look forward to. And I hope work goes better today.

I've always found qu1dco to be fine. I had to give them my bank details in order for them to pay me but I've had no issues- I think on my first payment I was a little surprised with how long it took but not an actual problem. This is the 4th or 5th payment I've had from them- easy money. Go for it!

So the flat is tidy bar the bedroom. There are lots of messy hotspots which are boxes/cupboards/drawers/under bed or sofa which need sorting/purging/minimalising. I will aim to tackle this over my easter break. The kitchen is much nicer when things are off the side.

In the great housework wars, OH has washed up and tidied up after himself. I have tidied bathroom, hall and lounge. OH has finally taken rubbish out :D

So tomorrow the cleaner will come and do a deep clean or hall/entrance (only tiny), lounge and kitchen.

On Sunday I will aim to do the bedroom by breaking it down into small jobs. OHs clothes will go into laundry basket or be put unceremoniously in his wardrobe. I will change bed, wash sheets, do my laundry, organise my wardobe, clear floordrobe, dust and hoover.

I also need to find 20 items of clothes to flebay/recycle or charity.

In terms of food, plenty in so will just need milk, juice, salad stuff for me for next week. Think OH wants to buy his lunches!!!

    Financials:

    £15 quidco
    £35 in bank

= £50- I spent £50 on my pampering which is fine.

Sold 8 ebay items for £61. This has to cover paypal fees and p&p too. Have payment of £41.20 winging its' way to me. Also have £7 due from someone who bought an item which is collection only.

Only awaiting payment from 2- I'll message them tomorrow lunchtime to say I'm posting first thing Sat morning if they want their items!

29 items finishing tomorrow but only 6 selling so far, plus 5 with watchers.

will try to be up bright and early tomorrow.

Still didnt call vet and still didnt post letters. Must do both tomorrow.

So lovely coming home to a flat where the cleaner has been!

All done now apart from bedroom.

This can be done over the weekend at some point.

I have to post 7 ebay sales which have been paid for. The only item for collection- buyer hasn't replied to me yet to arrange pickup.

Some other items ending over the next few hours. Lots won't sell, will relist.

More items sold for total of £5.70 plus p&p

    5 items relisted so far.

Have found fruit bowl, plant pots, books, DVDs, clothes to list but have zero motivation so will leave those til I have some more free time

time for a quick but long overdue catch up.

OH got paid today- I think they've miscalculated or something as he's received £800 more than I was expecting/had estimated. He's worked for a month so it's not for 6 weeks or anything, no bonuses. Even if he'd paid no tax it wouldn't result in this amount. So he's collecting his payslip and we'll see what's happened. What we don't want to do is spend what isn't his, get used to a big amount and expect it next month if he won't get it, spend this money thinking it's for a month but actually it's longer. He's on a proper monthly payroll so I have no idea how any of that would actually happen so looking forward to some answers. I like concrete figures to play with!

Made £73.13 on ebay minus £28 of p&p so £45 profit- need to give some to oH for his items which sold.

Have a load of stuff to list. This weekend has to be about paperwork catchup for work so need to find the time to clear the bedroom and amass a pile of items to list.

Am doing postage online and printing the labels. So easy. Need to buy more labels and postage bags. Got a mountain of tape and bubble wrap though.

Fridge and freezer looking well stocked- there are easily 10-15 meals in there/cupboards. If pushed I could make 20 I'm sure.

Will do MrT shop today with OH money of a month's worth of household bits, canned and bottled goods, pet supplies, cleaning stuff and heavy stuff. Then only quick fruit/veg/fresh shops needed weekly. Might do an AF order too.

Have £20 left in my purse. Hoping payday is tomorrow but it should be Saturday latest.

Still thinking I can pay off my 2 debts this month- although if I head away for a few days with a friend this may be a stretch too far- I welcome a challenge though!

Tonight's dinner was planned to be sausage kungpo using kungpo rice pack from AF but last night OH was mumbling about taking me out on his payday! We'll see if it materialises. If it does, I want to use my discount card so will check out today where takes it on a Thursday.

Been reading Fiscal Fast thread and would definitely like to try this. Need to think about when. Ideally I could do it for the 7 days, have a 3 day break to get organised then do it again. It's mostly how I live anyway.

So next few days will be interesting. Will update later.

It's all sounding very positive! :)

The £800 is odd, isn't it? Perhaps they pay in advance? Though I don't think I know of anywhere else doing that. One place I worked paid two weeks in advance and two in arrears so might your OH's place of work do similar?

I'm off to check up on Fiscal Fast - a new one to me.
