Well, as is customary for the new year, it is time for resolution making/target setting/reflecting.
And it seems I'm not making as much progress as I need/want/hope to.
Total at LBM Jan 2008- £19450.14
Total now Jan 2010- £15190.64
Wow. Not much of a difference. And to be honest that difference was made in 2008- so what was I getting up to in 2009 huh? Must go over bank statements and be brutally honest.
Had enough of earning more money than I ever have before but seemingly having less than I ever have before...how does it always end up like that?!
The good news (yes there is some light!) is that, thanks to some negotiations with a creditor, my bank forgetting to charge interest on my overdraft (I'm sure this won't last forever!) plus some very generous friends and family, £10344.54 of my debt is now interest free. This is amazing- those of you who read my old diary will know my interest rates were mahoosive and my credit rating means I can't secure a better deal.
So here is the breakdown...
Capital One- 228.02- 27.9%
natwest cc- 1200.00- 29.9%
barclaycard- 716.46- 26.9%
vanquis- 15.74- 47.9%
lpf- 962.28- 37.9%
ikea- 623.14 20%
dp- 1097.49 29.9%
od- 2000 somehow still interest free
Family 1- 2773 0%
Friend 1- 2000 0%
Friend 2- 1060 0%
Friend 3- 464.98 0%
Lowells- 2046.56 0%
I will fill in my SOA but Friends 1 and 3 have asked me not to start paying them back until September when Family 1 will be paid off (their 0% deal I am borrowing for balance transfer expires) which has given me great breathing space. Friend 2 is also really flexible.
SOA to follow.
NSD today.
I am officially back...
Shoes xx

Have paid in Christmas monies and contacted a company about a refund. Should bring in £215 which has to last me the 3 weeks until payday.
Will need some for electricity, groceries, travel to uni, some socialising and a few bills.
Not bad for day one...- DFD 4th July 2015

Day 2-
remembered to have breakfast but forgot lunch...doh! Still, today MUST be a NSD so I'll cobble something together from stuff I have at work and head home for an early dinner.
Washed one load on 30C last night but had to dry on radiators . It is so icy here...and hopefully snow will be here either today or tonight. Checked online banking, cheques on system but not cleared. No sign of refund but not expected for 2 more days.
Very excited about that!
Later on must...
list friend's jewellery on ebay
more laundry
find uni paperwork
do budget- for Jan spends
stick to diet!!!
do some kind of exercise, even dancing around my place :rotfl:

Hey shoes
:rotfl: at dancing around the place, it's what I often do whilst doing the cleaning, rather embarrassing when OH catches me though
I too am praying for snow for tonight, could really do with a day snowed in
Keep up the fantabulous work hun.

Hi MissShoes, just popped over from the Blondie thread to wish you luck! *subscribes*0

Hi all
well, going ok so far.
4/1, 5/1, 6/1 and 8/1 all NSDs. Spent £50 socialising yesterday- am so annoyed at myself. £50 that I did not have! Work was shut due to weather so basically socialised all day and night.
I will counterbalance this by selling things on ebay to raise the same amount. Very angry, think it was a case of forgetting my focus and going along with everyone else- not like me so I don't know why I did that.
Used quidco. £120 has tracked into my account although I have no idea how long that takes t clear- says up to 120 days on the site? Will update pet insurance (£7) and home insurance (£13) on SOA.
Quiet night in for me. Had storecupboard dinner, heating on but turned down. NSD.

Thanks hun. Normally I wouldn't, it's just I have literally nothing to last me until payday and then I do that. Plus I have to go twice to uni, have a few dates and have no funds for any of it. Plus basics like electricity, cat litter etc lol.
Nightmare. Have been scouting round the house trying to find things to ebay but I'm at a loss.
I think I'll have to cancel dates
