scraping the windscreen (ice)

Why do people stand there with a scraper scraping the ice away all you need to do is buy de-icer and spray it on. Its much quicker and easier! No need to scrape.

Because it's free. And I find that I scrape them a bit anyway when I have used de-icer.

To be honest, I think a lot of people are more than happy to save money on de-icer and do it by hand as it doesn't take long.

I'm sure if they were feeling really put out they would just buy some - it's no secret!

    And cheaper!
My advice is worth exactly what you're paying for it!

Or could be because the de-icer is empty as OH used it to defrost puddles to see if it would work!

Because scraping leaves a dry, smear free windscreen.

Kick the kids' toys out of the garage and put it in there = no ice.
