Well today went as expected and I have spent basically all day in bed recovering from my night out! Very cheap night out may I add too! The girls came round and brought wine with them so started off well! Then we went for a pub dinner and inc drink was about £6. We then got a pitcher of some sort of cocktail so there was £2 towards that and then there was one more bottle of wine paid for by someone else and that was that! A cracking night out on less than a tenner! :T

Good thing too really seeing as I've just caught up on my spending diary and it does not look good. I have about £150 to last me the rest of the month :( well til the 22nd which is payday. And I've got mum's birthday on the 12th which is gonna cost a bit as we are going to London. I am due about £45 of mystery shopping money in the next week so hopefully that will come through ok - will be a big help! Is just typical that the rest of the payments are all due around payday, would be much more helpful if they were spread through the month.

Anyways, I have a day of ms'ing tomorrow so I best get my beauty sleep :D

Hey people, check out my sig! :D

Another 2 months shaved off the debt free date! :j

One of my flat mates moved out and we have now replaced him - turns out he had his own Virgin Media set up in his room so wasn't contributing to the main Virgin package we have in the front room  Anyway, so now the newbie is contributing I am saving £4.50 a month :) Doesn't sound like a lot but it is £54 for the year and by putting that £4.50 to my Natwest Card each month I will shave my DFD by 2 months :D

Ahhh the little things in life!

  • Afternoon everyone,

Ok, updates in a nut shell: Friday was off work sick :(, Saturday still felt a bit cr*ppy but managed to drag myself around town for a couple of MS's - although you can tell I wasn't with it because have had a whole load of queries come back to me :( Sunday felt much better and as it was a nice sunny day went for a walk with mum for 2 hours  excessive for me! lol but it was really nice actually and we've decided that (weather permitting) we're going to try and do it every weekend - will also help with getting ready for race for life which I've really not thought about yet!

And then yesterday was mum's birthday so went into London. Wasn't as expensive a day as I thought too so I can now put my money back into my holiday savings account where it came from!! :rotfl:

Back to work today and it is not fun! Hope you are all doing ok!

  • I expect that 2 hour stint will be a one-off! :rotfl: But at least there is the intention of getting out and about! :D

  • Afternoon all,

Hope it is nice and sunny where you are too. :j Having a bit of a sort out this weekend, did a mass clean up of my laptop last night and have been going through the money stuff this morning. Thank god it's almost payday!!

But on the plus side, I have sold a couple more things on Amazon yesterday and am going to ebay a few more things today. I am also due a fair bit of money from mystery shopping in the next week or so, so fingers crossed I can hold out til Thurs!

Looks like we are still gonna have good weather tomo so I think we're going for a walk again :) Still, have been soo bad with food recently and havent lost any weight so is gonna need to be a VERY long walk! :rotfl: Might go gym today though - really need to get into it all - 6 weeks til holiday and I'm still as fat as a house!!! :o
