Well done on the weight loss KP!

Hope you managed to drag yourself out of bed and have done at least some of the mystery shops by now!

I am in awe of your mystery shop finding skills, I never get to them before they've all been snapped up!

    Hey Kp!

Well done on the weight loss! I need to get my backside in gear and shift a few pounds myself but I seriously think Im addicted to food! lol I do try to have my 5-a-day and drink plenty of water, just need to exercise! Am intrigued at this mystery shopping, what do you have to do? Excuse the silly question..lol
  • Morning All!

Sun is shining, birds are singing, and all is good with the world! :j

Hope you all had a lovely weekend, I spent my entire weekend ruining the weightloss with bad food and too much drink :D Back on the wagon today though!

Sunny - MS'ing is fairly straightforward really. You either get allocated an assignment or allocate it to yourself and then you have to go into the shop/restaurant whatever and assess the service you receive. Come home and write up the report and get paid for it! The reports are the worst part because they take up a fair bit of time (depending on which company you are using). If you go to the Up Your Income board there's a thread all about it on there - make sure you read all the info on the first few pages though before asking any questions on there - they are a bit funny about newbies on that thread!

You're never going to make big bucks out of mystery shopping, but I just like having that little bit extra and it gets me out and about!

Anyways, I best get on with my proper job! Hope you all have a lovely day :)

    Hello everyone!

Sorry I disappeared off the radar for a little while again. Things got tough money-wise so had to dip into all my pots and felt too guilty to be on here!

Payday yesterday though so I can now start again trying to get back on track. :) Even had to dip into my holiday savings though so gonna be another tough month while I top that back up :(

At least I have the hol to look forward to though! 9 and a half weeks to go, but who's counting eh?! ;)

It definitely softened the blow looking at the bank account on payday! Still is a bit of a shocker to realise how badly off I am this month though :( Think I should join one of those 'no spend days' challenges!!

I declare any on my diary but I haven't joined formally. Probably not a bad idea. The crazy clothes challenge has certainly been good for me so challenges are the way to go! Joined the no buying books challenge too - but getting withdrawal symptoms on that one! I may have to buckle soon... or get amazon vouchers for my birthday or something.

  • Hey niccatw, why don't you just go to your local library? Me and my mum have been doing that the last couple of months and it's brilliant! I have been reading loads more now and for free!

I am totally shattered now :) Went to weight watchers (lost 1 and a half pounds! :j), came home and had dinner and then have been moving furniture into my new bedroom all night! One of my flatmates has moved out so I get to move into his (bigger) room :D Was def a workout and a half! I just couldn't decide where I wanted everything so was changing it around constantly  I know where I'll put it all when I eventually buy a desk to go in there too but until then no matter where I put everything it looks too bare! Think I better set up another pot for savings! :rotfl:

Right, i'm crashing out now - night all!
