My god, am I shattered?! Whenever I go food shopping with mum, we end up traipsing around for hours! Got a fair bit and pretty much everything was on offer or reduced so fairly good. Should keep me going for a couple of weeks too so hopefully I'll have had payday by the time I need any more!

Mum owed me some money so got that all back tonight, and £20 of it was all in £2 coins! Works wonders for my £2 savers challenge but I kind of wish she hadn't done it because now I can't spend it!! :rotfl:

Right I'm up at 6 tomorrow so think I'm gonna hit the hay, night all!

    Happy Monday morning everyone!

Sun is shining, birds are singing, I have for once been bothered to wash my hair and wear it down for work and all is good with the world! :j

Hope you all have a great day!

Hiya niccatw  Alice in Wonderland was great! Doesn't seem to be getting that great reviews, but I really enjoyed it - I do like a lot of Tim Burton films though and I think Johnny Depp is brill :D Would def recommend and I don't tend to go to the cinema a lot - £11.20 that cost me! (Not including popcorn & drink!)

I'm with you on the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp combo! So I reckon it'd be a goer for me :D. £11.20 for the cinema though  Do you think they'd notice if I sneaked in my own popcorn ;).

And 'cos I'm not asleep already, I've already purchased my £1 Cineworld ticket! :j I'm going to dig out the biggest handbag I can find :D and stuff with sweets and popcorn! Now I'm definitely off to bed to dream of popcorn and Johnny Depp :rotfl:.

I never think to take my own stuff to the cinema - I guess I just like their popcorn too much! I never really get to the cinema much anyway so I don't mind 'splashing out' a teensy bit! :D

So what's new for today? My boss told me she has a ton of £2 coins in her purse so have bought a tenners worth off her to go in my pot! I'm leaving work at 3.45pm and then going off to do a mystery shop. Weight watchers tonight and that's it then I think! Nothing too exciting really!

    What's new with you guys?

Hi Kayleighpea - I found your thread at last! How was WW? I'm wondering if I should join but I don't really want to spend the money and know it is something I can do myself if I can push myself :o I will catch up more later as off to sleepland now. Roll on the weekend and a proper 'going to bed and not having to set the alarm day' - I still wake up early but just feel more refreshed getting up naturally.

Sadly I was late to work today - all down to transport - so have had to cancel an MS tomorrow just to make sure I defo turn in on time. No MS's now until weekend and nothing beyond that.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to the movies too

  • Morning everyone!

WW was good thanks DDFW - lost 2 pounds! :j I always think I can do it by myself but I just end up having takeaways or wine and thinking 'oh its only one night' and it always turns into more! At least this way I've got someone to tell me off when I've been bad!
