    Morning all! I've not caught up properly yet as DH has been typing up a quote for a job. He's just gone out to drive his Dad to the garage.

    So far this morning, I've put away dry washing up, done some shredding, put my pillows in front of the heater to dry, finished sewing sequins to a flower...I'm sure there is more but can't remember it.

    Spose I'd better do an HHC in a minute. Or in 30 minutes depending on howyou read that sentence. Haha

    I can get to it, and more to the point, I actually know where it is :D but I don't want it cluttering the place up (besides which, it rarely has what I need it in... savlon, plasters and dressings... I'm adding some mepore, mefix, hydrocortisone cream, crepe bandage, tubigrip and zinc oxice tape).

    Far more importantly - my dad has just called... he's leaving Norfolk (he's just gone past kazm and apparently it's snowing hard :D and wants to know whether to go to Gloucestershire (near Bristol) via Birmingham or go Northampton/Oxford/Newbury/M4...

    Any news on road/weather conditions along either route would be welcomed...
  • wash on, and get this...the RAC can't come out because of the snow so am not getting to work any time soon.

    psyching myself up to mark coursework.

    Woo hoo i've just finally managed to order a Wii fit Plus & balance board from Very. Using a £30 voucher it came to £62, cheaper than the normal wii fit from Argos that's out of stock ( plus 8 % Quidco ):money: Link if anyone's after one. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2169243

    I suppose i'd better do some housework now.:rolleyes:

    HHC at 11.10 anyone?

    Have just had my own little HHC; didn't know I was going to do it until it started iykwim! In that time I have:

    * gathered up 3 bin bags of stuff for charity shop and put into van ready to take
    * made DS's bed
    * shone my sink
    * washed up (being careful to keep sink tidy afterwards!)
    * cleaned my hob
    * cleaned oven shelves that needed it
    * sprayed bottom of oven with washing up liquid/water mix and leaving to soak in; I've done the top oven and it looks much better
    * cleaned cupboard fronts
    * wiped the front of my fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine - can't believe how grim they were

    I'll finish the oven then it's time for a cup of coffee I think and then may venture to the charity shop. The forecast is for snow here today; so rather do it whilst I can.
