Woo hoo i've just finally managed to order a Wii fit Plus & balance board from Very. Using a £30 voucher it came to £62, cheaper than the normal wii fit from Argos that's out of stock ( plus 8 % Quidco ):money: Link if anyone's after one. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2169243

I suppose i'd better do some housework now.

    HHC at 11.10 anyone?

Well done! We've just got a Wii and have the sports package - I think the fit one will be the next on our list.

Upstairs floors washed... waiting for my dad to call back. Might do some ironing... if I do it in batches it might not be too bad!
  • I'm at home today as the M60 is very bad and I heard on the news that cars were being abandoned on the motorway so I've not even bothered trying to get into work. DHgoes on the same motorway to work so he's working from home. He's just popped to the shop (walking...no chance in the car) so I'm here to say a quick hello but will most likely not be back today if DH is using the laptop for working. We did try to get some bread from the shop near school but there's not a single loaf of bread left there. Have got the stuff in to make it myself if necessary but I need to play with DD2 really. She'll just want me to carry her round the kitchen if I try to cook for too long.

DD1's school is open... most of the staff live locally, but DD2's nursery is closed. The girls were pulled to school in the sledge. The snow is knee deep for DD2 so it's a bit difficult for her to walk in it.

Anyway, I know what room it is today now so I can get on. Bedding was done Sunday night so that's one thing to cross off the list. Don't think DH turned and vacced the mattress so I might need to think of something to replace that to still get a star.

Will find my list and update it then get going.

Will have to get DH to go through his clothes. My wardrobe and shelves were all cleared out a couple of weeks ago and its still tidy. The floor definately needs clearing though.

Hope everyone is Ok. With being in work yesterday I've not had chance to catch up with everyone. Noticed Zoe is making wedding plans though so Congratulations to you and your Hubby to be!

HHC didn't really work, Mum rang so that took up 5 minutes, had to dry my hair as I realised if I go out with it wet I'll turn into an ice block!
Did wash up and put WM and TD on though. And made a cuppa.

SunnyGirl good luck getting your OH to go through his clothes, I've been trying to get mine to do that for the last 4 years! Closest I get is if I get the stuff out, put it in front of him and hold it up while asking if he wants to keep it. Unfortunately he seems strangely aattatched to his clothes, even the ones he doesn't wear he wants to keep for "rags" - I mean, how many "rags" does one man need?!

Far more importantly - my dad has just called... he's leaving Norfolk (he's just gone past kazm and apparently it's snowing hard :D and wants to know whether to go to Gloucestershire (near Bristol) via Birmingham or go Northampton/Oxford/Newbury/M4...

Any news on road/weather conditions along either route would be welcomed...

Either route will be carp if it snow heavily.

But I'm J16 of the M4 and it is bright and sunny here at the moment. Though snow is expected this afternoon.

I don't know how far up the country Kazm is. So how far from me is he?
