Kids are driving me senseless today - I need them back at school big time!

Roads here are fine on the whole and although we have a slight flurry going on it is no more than that.

Food shop done, return to next done, cheque paid into machine done,DH chopping wood.

DS3 is hungry again so he'll be getting another lunch and then I want to finish the bedroom.

I do this too esp when that jeremy comes on in the mornings.....no, not in this house!!!!!:rotfl:

Me too - used to think my Mum was nuts for doing that sirt of thing when I was a kid but I often find myself (in reply to something like 'and now it's time for 'A Question of Sport') "Not on my telly it's not!" Oh dear! :rotfl:

    I have been out!!

The farmer cleared the road and grittd it yesterday and DH got my car to the house. DD drove me and we decluttered some spare tickets for Mama Mia at the Arena in Newcastle. Fantastic seats and no time to worry about weather, snow etc. They had a lift that worked so I was able to get around easily. I really needed cheering up and this certainly helped.

The journey home was extremly scary as there was snow on all the roads and blizzards in some places but we got back late but safely. I just had to walk down the hill with DD and DS2 helping me.

Today I am sorting fabrics for rug making.
    Rabbit stew in slow cooker
    Log fire lit.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Mudders, you shouting at the news is something that happens as you get older. I am often heard to mumble "not in this house it's not" at the radio or TV if something comes on I don't like and the person who introduces the programmes says "and now it's time for ....."

or when they say "see you after the break" I find myself saying "I can see you but you can't see me, you're in a tv studio in London"...(so why am I talking to them?)

managed to do some decluttering in my HHC (so was it actually a HHD?) so feeling like I've achieved something now.

Thanks everyone for my welcomes and the advice .
I have written myself a 'version' of the list for the week, together with a daily to do list, and am going to sit down with all the family this evening, go through it, and highlight what I expect each to do.

I have also menu planned until the end of Jan, shopped for this week and am just about to start tackling the bank accounts - something I have been putting off for weeks :o. I know it will be hideous but at least I feel at the moment as though I am taking control :j.

    Will keep you posted :D

PS - feel as though one of the daily tasks should be keeping up with this thread

What's wrong with us all??!!! I say "not if I see you first!" :rotfl:

Right, to start with my daily list is going to be -

    Before bed each night:
Wash up and wipe down kitchen units
    Make lunch for next day
    Wipe round bathroom
    Straighten out living room
Get work clothes out for next day
