Procrastinator - have a (quick) look at the flylady crisis clean here:

Print it off and get on with it. I use it with depressing regularity!

    Afternoon all,

Haven't been on since yesterday morning, as I was out all day. Went to Mr T in the morning as needed to get medicine and soup etc for ex elderly neighbour who can't get out cos she has flu, got some shopping for MIL and for LadyL (any time you need me, just call and I'll be there - that's what friends are for) and our shopping too. Then I spent a lovely afternoon with LadyL, chatting and drinking tea, before delivering the shopping to everyone. We did the MIL last, had a cup of tea with her, before heading to my M&D's for dinner, making sure we took overnight stuff just in case we couldn't get home.

Had my hair cut this morning and went to Starbucks after to have some fruit toast (the weight I lost before Xmas due to stress has now gone back on and I'm healthyish again due to my current addiction to this stuff), got some smart jumpers for Moon as he's freezing at work just wearing his shirt and fleece, saw LadyL in town with her DS, got some soup and cheese straws from the bakery for lunch, before dropping a hot water bottle around to LadyL in case her power goes off again when we get snow as I don't want her freezing again.

Talking of freezing, I'm off to turn on the heating now OH has got home as it's only about 13 degrees in here at the moment and I'm sat here in my coat from town. Will see if he likes the jumpers too whilst I'm downstairs.

Hugs to jojo - fingers crossed it all works out well for you - will be thinking of you and sending positive vibes.

Hugs for toots and LadyL, Diva, angie and anyone else who needs or wants one too.

    sexymouse xx

    Mumof2 what is a carousel?

It's 2 circular shelves that can spin around so you can make full use of the drawer space. Ours has some cut out at the front so the doors can shut but I know that some of them are whole circles. Hope you know what I mean - been out in the cold fetching milk and poor brain (or what's left of it) is frazzled

I have just created the most amazing sandwich. It sounds gross but don't knock it until you've tried it:

It's philedelphia cheese with slices of pickled baby beetroot and pickled onion.

    Gorgeous!

I will be in again next week, house fairly tidy but needs the Flylady touch.
    That's how I often feel!

Had a bit of a nothingy day but very pleasant. Starbucks was hell so we got takeaway...returned the thing to the kitchen shop and swapped it for some silicone utensils, then did the library and went to town, got the present and dropped it off at friends where I had a cuppa and piece of birthday cake. Her son has the same birthday as me (monday) so we had lots of fun thinking about being birthday twins!! She dropped me back and I nipped to Sainsburys but it was mad as had started snowing so everyone was panicking again!!

WM is on and I'm about to start prep for the roast tonight.

Mumof2 yes I know what you mean, I has them in the old house but being all technical I called them 'whirly-shelves' :o

Laundry folded so far, should have some more dry soon, I've given in & leaving heating low as several people I know have frozen pipes. Must do some accounts stuff tonight, ignored it as I hate knowing how skint I am but need a plan in place to repay. DW salt has worked incredibly well on path so it's not white again yet :D the 3 bags I had left from wilkos order coming in handy (they have took it off online shop this week!) Washer on again. DW should be done soon.

Still snowing & he's going to work, refusing to let me take him to collect cab so if he gets stuck he's stuffed, argh, men!
One day I might be more organised...........
