    IMPORTANT QUESTION..

What jobs do people specifically want on the list next week?

you know those bits you look at week after week and think.. hmm.. I can pretend that's not on this weeks list so I'll leave it being an eye sore!?? My entire house is like that.. but come on.. tell me about your messy corners! I am bored of writing the same tasks week in week out.. I want something new!

And.. no you aren't having the week or even a day off..

That would be going through all the bookshelves, sorting the books wiping down the shelves and replacing only those books that I really really really want to keep (sorry hex, but without building an extension I haven't got anywhere else to put them!)

Going through my in tray and getting to the bottom of it

    Finding and renewing my passport

    Sorting out the DVDs

... and getting one presentation and 3 papers written for work... which without my work laptop seems rather over-optimistic!

    4. [STRIKE]End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend![/STRIKE] Car boot is full of stuff to go to the local hospice. Charity bag is full of clothes but they didn't collect on Wednesday (wonder why ).

    2. If you have a shelf.. empty and clean it - one done, one to go in the bathroom... 5 plus a huge bookshelf in the study  Maybe one a week...
Brother & SIL are arriving @ 10.30 tomorrow, and we're meeting friends @ 11.30 to go for a walk across the downs to a pub, have lunch and walk back. It was originally planned for Sunday, but with more snow on the way, tomorrow looks like a better bet!

I've made huge progress in the dining room of doom, even if I say so myself. Won't get it finished tonight, as I've really had enough now. DS1 told me at teatime that his GF would be coming round tomorrow. She is really nice and I saw on New Year's Day that their house is lovely, so God knows what she'll think. Despite all the progress we're still suffering from Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome.

Plan for tomorrow is to quickly spruce up the living room as that won't take too long and clean the bathroom, because it's awful. Anything else is a bonus. I best find out when she's due to arrive. DS1 has 'kindly' offered to help me, but given the state of his own room, he'll have his work cut out.

I'm off now, handing his laptop back over. May have a bit of time on the Wii fit to cheer me up. Oh, best not forget about getting the stew started.

Good night and hugs all around,
    MrsCx

Rach try taking it to bits then soaking it in very hot water, then a scrubby brush to get the bits off. While it's off clean any gunk under where the burner goes (I used to vacuum mine with the dust buster :o) if that doesn't do it it's not because it is not clean.
One day I might be more organised...........

Don't feel like cleaning phone area tonight I'm afraid!

toots you are banished from adding extras!!! How long!!! Oh & my shed is snowed in too :rotfl: I am going to borrow neighbours shovel to get in there tomorrow so I can get mine and clear the path...again!! Oh and you are not allowed to do ALL that list. So Ner!!

DP stayed at work so far, he's in such a panic over lack of money but I've said these things happen & it'll be ok. The mad head ordered a new toy thinking this week he'd be back in so he has £400 to find by Sunday ***rolls eyes*** he will be asking me to lend him it.

Decluttered some biscuits, put some bread in the fridge for the birds tomorrow - think I might put a car mat with it on as it keeps sinking. TD finished but needs to go on again, trying to get it to last out a bit longer until DP is back working & only using when we are out of drying space. DW just finished so going to empty that now.
