I got up at EIGHT am, (unknown for me for over a year, as I have been doing a Masters), which is good practice since I finally got confirmation of security clearance for my job and an official start date of MONDAY!!!! Whoooooooo!!!

Anyway, woke up, did my stretches and exercises, have done them four days in a row, I am good. Yeay.

    Congrats on the new job!

Feeling good and motivated today, not letting these icy paths up here stress me out and stop me from going the gym!! Going spinning tonight at the gym, will also do some treadmill work then of course...my sit ups and ab work! :)

Congrats on the job. Am doing alright with the squats and lunges but the sit ups are not going that well. Need to somehow fit these into my routine. Made myself do 100 today to catch up a little.

Rather than doing the bog standard sit ups skaps, have a look at the different types of sit ups/crunches ab work you can do. You may find one that is better for you than the normal sit up and is just as effective. :)
  • Well done on the job front 'the duchesshavoc'.
Have done 60 jackknifes, can feel the after effects :)

I did not do any yesterday and am trying to catch up, now up to 510 for my lunges and squats and 370 for my situps. Going to try to do some more later on today. Aim to hit 1000 by Thursday for both.

I did sod all yesterday, I sat about looking up places to go on holiday. But I DID find a cottage in Madeira for two people for 100 Euros each for the week and booked for the third week of July... So, you've got to do armchair work sometime ... Er ... Yeah... Also, we will be walking the levadas so it's a good inspirational tool for me...

Aso booked B&B for three nights in Snowdonia, night before last, so we're gong to climb Snowdon in April, whoooo! Haven't ACTUALLY done any walking yet since the steam room has been broken in Clarach, have just been going to the swimming pool in town. But am making a start tomorrow. Oh yeah!

Anyway, had a sneaky check of the weighing scale this morning (supposed to wait until Monday) and it read ten stone ten ... ... That would mean I've lost 4lb over the last fortnight. I've put down 2lb just in case it reads differently on Monday, but that's pretty good going considering I have just stopped drinking alchohol and made sure I didn't eat to compensate, and taken up some excersises in the mrning! If this continues I may never even have to START a diet! :T:j:T:j

Gig tonight, too, so going to go practice the songs now. :p
