Did the house!! With a little/lot of help from my dds.
Last night we went to visit the in-laws and colected the kids presents (original plan to do that was scrapped last Saturday due to the snow!)
Today - going to peel the veggies, make the stuffing and wrap the presents then relax
Dh is working tonight so that will be weird but he's promised to be up with the kids in the morning - he's also working New Year's Eve (karaoke in pub!) but after running a pub for years I never go out anymore - love stopping in with the kids and happy to babysit sor family and friends who have social lives!!:)
Got sister and kids coming for dinner tomorrow so will be able to have a drink then and with a bit of luck demon baby may feel a little better and sleep!!!!!!! Have decided her dummy is full of germs and not helping so trying to persuade her to leave it for the baby reindeers - she may never sleep again:eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -
Great idea for baby reindeers! Love it!
Sorry DH working but maybe you will get them all to bed early and get sorted so you can get to bed earlish too.
Hope Demon Baby is angelic!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Hi Cialilerin - ha ha found your diary at last - an amazing read so far - had to have a break to do lunches for my lot, but i'll be back with a cup of tea to read more soon.
Sorry about the PND and the time off work, my aunt and sister suffer from bi polar so i have an idea about the problems. And can totally see why the time off work has pushed the debts so far. Thing is we can't go back we can only go forward and you've got a great attitude.
Have you got a new DFD now, just that mine is Jan 2017 so not too much longer than your original one?

Morning,
Well Christmas was lovely - think it was the best since before I had the demon baby and the evil depression set in.Somehow I managed to relax beforehand - think it was due to being confined to the house due to demon baby being ill and the weather being shocking!
On the big day, I managed to cook for 10 and kept smiling throughout, even when my present from dh was £100 in cash - we have a joint bank account!!! I think i have realised after the 15 years we have been together that he just doesn't get the fact that it's the thought that goes into the present that makes it special! (also I accidentally found out what he had bought me for my 40th bday in Feb and it wasn't something I woud have bought myself - so maybe I was just relieved that he hadn't bought something similar for Christmas:rotfl:) The only blot on the day was not getting a card from one of my sisters. We have a difficult relationship, she is hard work, but for my mothers sake I put a face on and sent her a card from all of us and a present from the children. She did send the kids presents but has not acknowledged my existence!Similarly my 2 nephews followed her example - they are both late 20s so old enough to make up their own minds - it is particularly hurtful as one is demon baby's godfather and the other I have done sooo much for! Oh well, got to let it go now.
Back to work tomorrow!!! Fortunately I love my job and am now ready to get away from the kids:) Anyway it was my niece's bday yesterday so today we're all going ice skating! The kids haven't been before and i haven't been since I was about 7 (and i was no good then:)) so I have persuaded my sister to have a go so I can as well! Then off for a Chinese - no more turkey:D
Confession - I have bought a couple of decorations in the sale for next year (spent about £30 in total but got over £100 worth of stuff!)Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -
Sorry about family issues, but glad you had a nice christmas.
Enjoy your day out and chinese yum yum, i can't stand the thought of another roast dinner.0 -
By the way, demon baby found another dummy - Rudolph needs to have more babies
I will update my SOA in next few days (when bank holidays over and dd's taken out) and let you know my new dfd!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -

Happy working on new DFD! Not even looking at that for a few more weeks I think but I noticed it's almost your anniversary of LBMLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Just back from work and feeling a little fed up - I applied for a new position but my application was delayed because of the postal problems so they informed me they wouldn't be looking at it! It's clearly postmarked 2 days prior to the closing date but they still won't accept it - so frustrating as I was just too busy to hand deliver it!!!! :mad:Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120
