OH Advice please.. bit long!!

Helloo... Can i have some of your advice please!

OH works from home and has a selection of people who walk by the house that he talks too...
Couple of months ago we agree that due to work blah blah the house is getting v untidy and could do we a cleaner ( yes I know not v MSE!) so OH suggests on of the people.. all agreed sorted!

One morning OH said ** rang could she have her money as bit short, I'll walk it round.. and off he went came back 10 mins later with money she wasn't there
later that day she rang I said sorry you were short and had to ring for money i'll bring round.. ** did not know what I was talking about... Challenged OH he said he lied as know how i fell about ** ( i don't want a cleaner but thats another story!) so thought it better to lie
That night he went out to mates (1hr away) back came back aftter 30 mins as "roads were a nightmare" ( there weren't! acccording to bbc travel!)

two days later i went out and he txt and rang **... txt deleted ?? when I asked him why he said to ask her what to buy me for xmas!!!! I don't even know her!!!!

Suggestions what to do next!!!!

Sorry but your post is really difficult to understand. Your OH went round to pay the cleaner cos she asked for money, but she didn't? So where did he go, and I don't understand the rest

you think he is up to no good with the cleaner then? Just tell him you dont want a cleaner. Foot down.

Sorry.. I'll break it down...

he said that she phoned so he went round with the money to give her.. she was upstairs nad wasn't sure if it was the door... so she called us to see what he wanted and i said he was bringing money around like you asked and she said she had never phoned him in the first place.

He admitted that she had never phoned!

but if he is up to no good that won't stop him! just loads of rows about the state of the house

Get a different cleaner? (Although I kinda think we are missing the point!)

no it wont stop him but will make it harder for him, ie no excuse to pop down to the 'cleaners'. Have you challenged him about the cleaner? Any other signs something might be going on? If he is into her, it sounds like she isnt him, or she would have gone along with his lie about the money.
