Hi all

First of all hugs for everyone that need them ..... hoping that things improve for those that are having difficulties.

Had another lazy today, its been nice but I feel that I have been rather lazy lately. Back to work tomorrow tho , part time only so I cant complain and DD is back to school on Tuesday ( as long as her cold is no worse) so in a way it will be nice to get back into a routine, will miss DH being around so much though, although at times he does drive me mad ! He has been a bit grumpy today, I think the thought of going back to work has got to him.....

Went through some of my cookery mags today and tore out or wrote out recipes I liked so feeling full of inspiration at the moment, just got to get everything well organised so that I can refer to it easily.

Managed to get somewhere with the washing mountain today, not sure why I got behind with it really but cant fret about it too much, bad news is that I think the washing machine is on its way out as its not spinning at all well ..... not sure where the money will come for a new one at the moment either....

Good news to end with though ..... our £1 a day pot has £6 in already instead of the planned £3 !

Sorry to be so late, spending a lot of my time knitting as there is a fire lighting every day in living room so it is really the only 'cosy' room in the house, did one wash and arrayed it on airers to dry, will do another one to-morrow and eventually get to the end of the basket.

DD4 and DGS 2 came for dinner, they have been staying in just like me so its been a week since we saw them. OH cooked steak, cauliflower, broccoli, fried onions, steak and chips and it was lovely, not a big meat eater so just had a small steak.

To hospital between 9 and 9.30 to-morrow for OH's Warfarin check, hope that it has settled. Will do a little shopping while out, need cat food but want to get a few things that we will use later in the month so that we can stay at home for the rest of the week.

Hugs to all...keep warm in this dreadful weather, our road and entrance are still slippy, some thaw to-day but it has been freezing again since about 2pm.
