Oh my god, first day back at work after Xmas & I am STARVING!!!!

    I have had so far:-

    Yoghurt
    Ham & cheese sandwich
    Grapes
    2x clementines

Does anyone have some healthy snack ideas that I can keep in my drawer without it going off anytime soon?

Luckily I am going home in a minute else it would be a trip to the vending machine to stop my stomach rumbling!

Hello all, as I am aiming at only 2 lbs a month, every month, could you put me down for 5lb over the Spring Challenge please Lou.
    Start point is 240lb.

10 miles across the fields yesterday. Regular 3 miles each afternoon, this is helping amazingly with losing SIZE.......will get 38 waist trousers from work stores tomorrow because I reckon they will fit now. Not had a waist measurement starting with a 3 for probably 20 years.

Check weight tomorrow. keep it up everyone.
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

Walked 2 miles after work along the shoreline. Took 35 minutes so that's a 17.5 minute mile so just over 3 miles an hour.

Most of it done in utter annoyance at a comment from a colleague at the end of the day.

She goes on and on and on (very loudly and animatedly) about how she needs to lose 2 stone, she has to do it, she is going to do it, oh how can she lose weight with people sat there eating, blah, blah, blah...........but never does anything.

I popped into the kitchen to put my cup in the dishwasher as I was leaving and there was a tin of Quality Street on the worktop.

I took 2 as she walked by.

She say (very loudly with an office full of people in earshot)

'OY! Get your mitts out of that tin. You're not allowed any. I've resisted all day'

I looked at her and calmly said 'I am fine, I am allowed'.

I was so angry. Ok, technically I shouldn't have had them  but I have decided my target of 2.5 pounds a week with a goal of 3.5 stone by May and on CD that is quite a conservative goal. I want to do it a bit more gently and if that means I have the occasional chocolate, then I will have the occasional bloody chocolate - by choice!!!

I felt like saying either 'lose some of the weight you keep going on about and then you can tell me what I should be doing' or that she should have respect for someone else and what they are doing as she should really understand how hard it is.

I've lost over 6 stone since the summer and am quite a private person in public when it comes to stuff like this. I've only really answered questions about my loss when I've been asked, I've not gone around shouting my mouth off about what I'm doing and I felt really cross that she had the cheek to belittle me in front of others when I feel I have achieved so much and all she can do is whinge about her situation. I would never tell someone who is trying to lose weight what they should and shouldn't be putting in their mouth as if they are a naughty 6 year old.

I don't have many buttons that can be pushed........but after nearly 8 years of putting up with being told what I should and shouldn't be doing food and weight wise, I am not going to put up with someone embarrassing me when she can't do something similar herself!!!!!

I came back and had a nice hot bath and I'm back to laid back, easy going BB now :D:D:D:A:rotfl:

:naughty::naughty::naughty: no 'only' about it......remember that is nearly 2 stone in a year :T You'd be well peeved if you put that amount on so see it as an achievement to lose it

I am soo hungry. Trying to restrict my calories and eat three healthy meals a day but I never feel full. Can't concentrate on anything as my tummy keeps rumbling!! I know I have to meal plan properly and get plenty of filling foods so going to do that now.

Exercise wise I went for a long walk today and also danced around the house to some cheesy tunes on one of the music channels :). Also drank 1l water, done sugar free squash and a few cups of tea. I find it hard to drink water on it's own so trying to gradually increase my intake.

Hope everyone is having a good day

Have managed OK today - including an hour on the Wii (am fairly knackered now tho!), despite leaving my lunch at home this morning! Luckily a colleague 'leant' me half a roll and some tomato!!!
    How has everyone else's been?

p.s. what is 'CD' have seen it mentioned a few times and am not sure what it is!

Wow BB what a story - I think someone further up hit the nail on the head & they're just jealous at how well you have done! You seem to have the right idea anyway, 2 chocolates in the grand scheme of things won't mess it all up, whereas complete denial of the foods you love will.
