I'm going out for a walk in a little while. It won't be a massively long hike but is going to be round the walls and ridge of Wareham.

I will work out how far it was when I get back using mapmyrun....although it will probably more of a mapmyhuffingpuffingwalk :rotfl:

And yes folks (for those that know me and my stupid driving phobia!!) it means........I'm going to drive there.........

Fantastic on the walking and the driving BB, the walking will get so much easier and quite quickly too. I remember doing our first ever 6 mile walk which took us almost 2 and a half hours.

We looked like a couple of people that had been marooned in the desert when we returned home:rotfl: Now we can motor it around in an hour and a half. You just need to keep it up!

As for the driving.......just one more fear you will conquer my friend xx

    Hi everyone,

I would love to join the challenge . I have just weighed myself and am now my heaviest at 10.5 st. I only weighed 10St when I was 9mth pregnant with DS!. I have a very small frame and really can't carry weight well.. My weight gain is all around the middle so i probably now look like I am 9 months pregnant:o:o.

Anyway for the spring challenge I would like to lose 10 1bs which will be a nice birthday present for me on the 17th March;)

Thanks and good luck to everyone:)

    Hi Buffy

I recorded a scary weigh too (my heaviest ever :o) but, as somebody said to me, this is the heaviest you will ever be and you will never have to see that weight again :p

Good luck hun, we can do this (I have 28-35lbs to lose )

  • I remember going to weight watchers and thinking 11 stone bad. Its strange how it just creeps up, I haven't noticed, gone up a dress size -only one although I 've not got very many comfortable clothes. And as there has been no man on the scene for a while I haven't bothered.

oh dear. I have such a lot to do. Its going to take at least six months. Mind you that fits in well with the end of the school year and my re assessment plan. I could have it all sorted.

Buffy - I am feeling just the same. Realised this morning that I haven't lost my 'Christmas' weight from last Christmas - or the one before that :o

I think we can be quite similar - full of 'all or nothing' plans and then not actually getting anything done :p Well this time there are no fad diets and promises to lose a stone in a week - just steady weightloss through healthy eating. My target is 3lbs this week, and a total of 10lbs for January - doable I think :D
