Hiya can you count me in please?
I weighed last week and found myself to be the heaviest in over two years!! Hopefully that did include some festive bulge though. I have no grand plan just going to eat healthily and limit the chocs and sweet stuff. I'm aiming for 1lb loss per week so not making life too hard! Want to lose a stone then see how I feel. Longing for some sunshine and wearing nice little tops rather than heavy jumpers and cardis.

Well good luck everyone, I look forward to seeing how we all do

  • Some decisions

Mum wasn't aware I was going on a diet so food wise it is not great, I think I will do a eat five a day fruit and veg wise (had grapes, tomato soup, will have to find some more fruit some where!) for the rest of the week.

Exercise wise - I did my walk today and will follow the Leslie Sansone programme for 6 weeks, with some kind of low impact exercise dvd twice a week THEN I will do the couch to 5km for 8 weeks, along with the Shred.............

When I think about food, I don't eat huge amounts but I don't move AT ALL. So any kind of exercise is a start.

thought it might be fun to make a model and see how differently you will look when you reach goal!

    Hi Buffy

I recorded a scary weigh too (my heaviest ever :o) but, as somebody said to me, this is the heaviest you will ever be and you will never have to see that weight again :p

Good luck hun, we can do this (I have 28-35lbs to lose )

Im also at my heaviest after holiday then xmas:( My starting weight is in my signature. Im going to try to lose 5lbs this month. I have to start slow (only just walking again without crutches after breaking my ankle). My dog will keep me healthy. I have only just got my confiedence back to walk him alone again (I used to do 3 miles a day without blinking) but now every step is tentative and a bit uncomfortable. I do push myself because I feel guilty if Dexter doesn't get a good run.

    any room for another newbie?
i am in desperate need of some motivation. i lost 2 stone over 2 years ago, and although i havent put any of it back on, i really still need to lose at least another stone.
I am currently at 9st 7lbs, and would be quite chuffed to be somewhere between 8 and 8st 7lbs.
Mid March is my 30th, so it would be wonderful if i could reach my target by then!
could you put me down for 14lbs please.
like many others on here, I am determined that this year is my year. Good luck all!!

Helloooo everyone.... yep I'm in too. I've gained 7lbs over christmas new year :( I'm hoping some of that is water weight because flying gives me mega cankles lol.

I think I'll go down for 10lbs between now and march. I want to lose 1 1/2 stone this year so that'll be a good start.

  • Hello everyone, I'm back for the new year. This will be the year I lose weight and don't look totally vile and flabby by the pool when we go on our hols (September seems like aaages away but I bet it soon creeps up)

I've been ill with flu lately which has been fab for my weightloss, and the 6 lbs I stacked on while falling off my diet wagon are now banished and I'm starting again from scratch.

So...I'd like to be 5lb lighter in 10 weeks time. I'm not following any particular plan at the moment, just trying to eat better, eat less junk, and try and squeeze in as much of my 5 a day as possible.
