Fantastic on the walking and the driving BB, the walking will get so much easier and quite quickly too. I remember doing our first ever 6 mile walk which took us almost 2 and a half hours.

As for the driving.......just one more fear you will conquer my friend xx

I did 2.5 miles (after looking on mapmyrun when I got back) and I could easily have added another mile I think before I felt I was 'pushing' myself. It was over heathland so quite flat.

The drive was good as well. This week I have done a 30 mile round trip and today a 20 mile round trip. I felt calm and in control and it felt really good :D Might try Dorchester next :D I know to most people they will think I'm mad but I have a very huge driving phobia and have been very, very limited by it........until now :D Still a long way to go until I'm hurtling round the M25 on 2 wheels but hey, who knows?! :rotfl:

cheers :) (very hard to accept the compliments without berating myself, but I am trying!!)

I feel that in another 3.5 stone time I may well be happy to stop the diet and look to maintain even though I will still be classed as 'overweight'. I will see how I look/feel then and make a decision. I really do feel that if I kept going to what is classed as a 'normal' weight for my height I would look thin and that is never what I looked to achieve.

Whilst I want to do the next mission a little more slowly than the first 6 or so stone, I feel much more at ease with doing it that way. As some of you know, my now ex (god it feels good to say that) used to call me horrible names when I was that overweight and I felt that part of me losing the weight quickly was done through anger and bitterness to prove some stuff he said last May as his problem rather than mine. I also started to develop a fear of putting anything in my mouth over the last few months because I knew he would have started saying stuff like 'see, I knew you couldn't do it' and that in itself wasn't a healthy relationship with food either. It became a fear of what he would say about how I looked combined with a growing bitterness of him (a trait I never had about anybody or anything before we met and one that has quickly melted away since we split 2 weeks ago) and a growing fear of food itself.

By doing a slightly higher plan of 810 or even 1000 I am still going to lose weight quickly as it's still a very low amount of calories, but I will be able to add a small amount of allowed food - becauseI choose to rather than how I am feeling about food because of how I am being treated.
