Hi, I'd like to lose 5lbs in January. I'm currenltly 14stone 1lb and this time last year I was 13 stone 3lbs thanks to a rather nasty tummy bug. My aim is to be back to that weight by my birthday 8th May.
I've been advised that I need to lose weight by my DR as I've got high blood pressure, so fingers crossed.0 -
Can you put me back to zero.

Hi Lou,
I've read the inspirational comments from yourself and the other weight bashers and would like to join this challenge. In the past I have tried several SW groups (leave after a few months) and diets (cabbage soup - lasted 3 days) etc. Ideally I'd like to lose weight so that I do not stray into the 'Overweight' category in the NHS website all the time. At the mo, I'm firmly in that place.
Tomorrow morning, I'll attend a body attack (BA) session and weight myself at the gym. This should give me a clear indication on exactly what I need to lose to be deemed as healthy. So the target for this month will be 4lbs .
Today I've also joined the Grocery Challenge. With this in mind and wanting to lose lbs (rather than £'s) I wrote a food inventory. In this list are several bags of dried fruit - any suggestions on a good low fat and sugar recipe?
Good luck to everyone who starts the 'healthy eating plan' tomorrow.
Kx

Happy New Year everyone.
Please may I join again? Had a start the beginning of 2010 but the need to tackle my debt took priority. I am hopefully on the slow road to recovery debtwise but if I don't tackle my weight the health issues are just going to get worse.
Great idea re the crocus, made me smile and feel optmistic.
I'd like to loose ten pounds a month for the first three.
Good luck everyone

Hi,
Do you mind if I join again please? I'm afraid I'm still hoping to lose 10lbs
I haven't posted for ages as I managed to put ON weight instead of lose it, & I was far too embarrassed to say so...I have now got back down to my original weight, (even with xmas, how odd!) so back at square one...but I really need to make more of an effort with this now.
Ok so to give myself a bit of motivation I am going to make clear, attainable goals this time:-Current.
Weight: 10 stone & 3 lbs
Bust: 38 inches
Waist: 30 inches
Hips: 40 inches
Dress Size: 12
Goal.
Weight: 9 & a half stone
Dress Size: 10I have been reading through the thread slowly (not as much as I would have liked to though) so will continue with that & make more of an effort, & I aim to make a weekly post showing not only my current weight but inches to see if I am losing there instead of on the scales.
I know I don't have as much to lose as some of you so I hope this doesn't seem trivial, it's more to try & get my confidence back as I just feel so heavy as a size 12, & although I know that's not large, for me it is as the fat isn't spread very well...I look about 5 months pregnant!!!
Anyway I hope it is ok for me to join again, & I wish you all the best in 2011, may this be a good year for us all x:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
