    Happy Halloween everyone........

Just been on the scales and I am NOT going to be negative so I shall just say that I am back to square one almost and need to really get to grips with this.

I am digging out all of my old SW books and will stock up while shopping today. The walks are going to have to be more disciplined so 6 miles on the cards for today.

So my plan for the day is.....

    B - Bagel
L - Hot roast beef bun
    D - Veg Chilli

Snacks will be fruit as I still appear to be in a sugar skitz from last nights Haribo Halloween overdose:o
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Also got told how good I looked yesterday by a male friend :-)

Oh I'm so jealous :p I just can't get into the right zone at the moment:o Maybe a new month will help me get my act together....
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

amazingly STC but like Lou, am virtually back at square one so starting afresh. The weight gain and unhealthy eating is having a horrible effect on my mind and body so I need to get it under control

Off to have cheese souffle and roast potatoes for lunch :rotfl::o:eek: as they've been cooked for me but tomorrow I start afresh
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

STS for me this week. Not surprising really with a combination of a huge 12 pound loss last week and also a bit of an emotional/stressful week which has led to a little bit of picking.

I'm helping my ex organise all the aspects of his move, he is really rubbish at anything research/logistics etc like that and I don't mind helping out as a friend even though I do now feel I'm also moving as I've been involved in every aspect - and they say that it's one of the most stressful things you can do!! I've also got the emotional side of Charlie moving nearly 20 miles away and he really is one of the highlights of my life, when I went through 'that' time with Cruella (long story for those who don't know) Charlie really was one of the aspects that kept me from going under any deeper than I actually did. I will see him at weekends but it will be more of a quick visit and I will be reliant on buses etc.

My ex - bless him - is grateful for all the help and going with him to organise stuff (ie I went to the storage place today to finalise it all as he hates that kind of thing) has offered twice in the last 24 hours to buy me a takeaway /KFC etc to say thankyou but I've been strong and said 'no'. :D Our relationship revolved hugely around food/meals out/cooking and I think he feels this is a natural way to thank me but it's not a good one for me!!! I just have to stay focused.

He moves in just over 2 weeks so I might be a bit wobbly diet wise until a bit afterwards. The thing is though, my 'picking' hasn't been more than slices of ham/chicken etc but because I'm on CD, any tiny deviation can start fluid retention. The old me would have given up and binged for Britain by now, so I'm happy that I'm working through it without really going off the rails.

I'm another one seeing tomorrow, 1st November as a starting point. It's not so much for Christmas for me, I'm looking at a more long term, lifestyle change if possible.

Money isnt great, and we all know the healthy stuff costs more than the bad stuff, but I will do my very best. All suggestions gratefully received :o

I'm starting with the home grown pumpkin, currently twinkling with it's candle in my front window. Tomorrow night, that will be a yummy healthy soup and it's seeds are drying out, ready for next year's planting :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Hi everyone, I'd love to start this again and see how good I can be (plus an unexpected trip to the Dr on Friday led to more talk about my weight than the actual rather painful reason I went to see him!) So I pledge from November the 1st to loose 28 lbs at least by my birthday in March! I am using Food Focus to track things that I eat but I also want to share it with all of you too! So far the meal plan for tomorrow is:

Breakfast: Home made muesli (inspired by River Cottage!) with an apple and Detox tea
Lunch: Just made an amazing tuna salad with green pepper, onion, carrot, tomato, cucumber and celery
Dinner: Home made pea and ham soup
    Snacks: Peaches, apple, banana
