ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I have been to all the slimming clubs and seeing how I am aiming to save £s to, I am not joining a club. I am aiming to healthy eat and not eating if I am not hungry. This is such a big problem for me. I have lots of free time on my hands, so over eating/spending go hand in hand with me. I am trying not to count calories points ect. I just do not keep it up. So my plan is to dump the junk, eat healthy and move more. I have to come up with something i can do for the rest of my life.

I've just eatten my lunch and it's not even half ten  thats cause i had my brecci at about 5.30 which for the record was reduced fat sausages and hot vimto, i think when they removed the fat part they also removed the tasty part too, I would have binned them but the mse part of me hates waste ...sometimes dieting can be conflicting with saving.. when i was on placement for my nursing course before chrimbo, they gave you brecci ,lunch and then sandwhiches at tea time, i finished placement almost a stone heavier and it was only 5 weeks  but i kept thinking, 'well its free, i'm a student and I won't have to get any shopping in' but now i'm paying for it and if i don't loose at least a stone by febuary i'll have to get another pair of pants as my uniform is a tad snug to say the least :rolleyes:get rid of all the pounds by summer !!

Been to school armed with a packed lunch and got sent home again due to snow (it is bad though, got stuck in the car twice!)
So today's food is
B - cornflakes (milk to dog)
L - 1 roll with reduced fat cheese spread, satsuma and banana
D - cheese and potato pie (maybe with baked beans if I'm hungry)
Lots of lime squash too
Hope everyone is doing well?0 -
Well it's day two of the healthy drive, and it's great to see how busy this thread is getting. Yesterday started well but didn't end quite as well (but still could have been a lot worse!!) I find it so so hard to resist getting a sandwich or a pie slice from the petrol station and gave in to temptation yesterday. I don't get it, why the fuel station??? EVIL fuel station!!!
Well today's food is as follows...
Breakfast - Grapes, Clementines, Bananas and Kiwis.
Lunch - Still some leftover fish pie, with a pack of frozen steamed veg (not a big fan but they need eating up!
Dinner - still undecided but will involve stuff already in the cupboards (not a good sign!) Will see, but will probably end up being a rice or pasta dish.
Hope everyone is feeling ok and still doing well (you must be doing better than me). Take care people!0 -
Are you actually going to the garage for fuel? I always do 'pay at the pump' to avoid temptation :rolleyes:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

I shall update the spreadsheet this evening for all the newcomers, I bet we reach 100 by the weekend:eek:
I have a pork casserole in the slow cooker and will have veg and new pots(reduced to 15p at mr Ts) with that.
I have also made some lemon drizzle cake for the boys packed lunches as once again we have been cleared out of biscuits:rolleyes: I may alow myself a tiny slice after dinner this evening otherwise I well feel deprived and end up cutting myself a huge wedge in protest:rotfl:
Just enjoying a cup of coconut chocolate options drink....mmmmm
Stay away from the pies and pasties cornishman, they are sent from the devil himself! But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
