Have to say I can't see I'd ever 'shred' - it sounds really intense _pale_

Not sure how I feel Lou. Not much different to be honest but I still have another 10 pounds to go before I get to what I was last October. I won't feel I'm making 'progress' until I get to there. After that, I might start trying on a few of my clothes to see if anything tight fits better.

Another couple of weeks and you will be there BB.

How about starting off a weigh loss journal (I dont mean a public one unless you feel it will help)

Just to jot down how you feel about allsorts of things, its also a good way to look back to see how far you have come, cause its easy to forget once you have acieved your goals. MrJ wished he had taken some "before" pictures as he has sort of forgotten what his shape was like before the big loss.

I have a picture on my phone just before I started to lose weight of my muffin top, I look at it sometimes whenever I start to feel weak.....I completely ignore it at times of course but thats all part of the journey.

Anything that might help you throught the 3 week sticking point has got to be worth a try:)
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I havent weighed in this weekend, but will do it next Saturday.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Erm, better during the week than at the weekend Lou. Himself is a very bad influence on us :D

I figure its better to be good some of the time than bad all the time ehh. Our being good will rub off on him eventually ;)

scrooge, I like the Shred as it goes in with my jogging, but it is a bit hard when you first start. I'm slowly getting used to it and the squats which KILL my legs
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Thats why I am grateful for OH joining in as well, the kids snacking on stuff doesnt bother me too much though.

MIL bought us a box of thorntons chocolates to share today:eek: we have decided that we will allow ourselves one each after dinner on days that we go out for walks, they are 68 calories for 1.

Just got back from a 6 mile walk, too hot though.

I keep fancying the idea of doing the shred but I know how bad I am at following the DVD's, I sort of do it once or twice then stick it back in the box forever:o I have a Rosemary Connoly one somewhere (actually its on VHS) the music is very 80's:rotfl:

I also have a Beverly Callard one too for some reason?

He wants to, and needs to but the whole diet thing just sends him into a bad mood. That's why I'm just eating healthily most of the time, and eating less rather than having red days, green days etc.

68 calories each !!!!! Wow, I'd never eat just one :o

already started one when I first started. It's out there, but you'd have to really hunt to find me ;)

I took a side and front photo when I started. I'm not going to look at it, leave it on my camera and hopefully still be on track in 2 weeks to take the next ones. I don't think there will be much difference until I've lost around 3 stone or so, long way to go yet.
