Sounds scary Spud but I know nothing about these things so if DH says it's normal it probably is! Glad he's ok.

DS1 had a bad burn on the back of his hand when he was a toddler from a hideously hot radiator in someones house. As it healed all the old (damaged) skin started to peel off with the shiny pink new skin underneath.

Scarring probably will occur (you can still see DS's scar, especially when he tans in the summer and that bit stays white) lots of moisturiser or bio oil once its healed can help to minimise any scarring.

I have bunged all the stuff you said for the curry in the slow cooker, going to see how it turns out but will buy a jar of curry just in case:o

    Oh My Goodness..........

    my curry is amazing:j

I put a spoonfull of zero fat yogurt in for me and the boys as it was very spicy and loads of fresh corriander.

It is just like the ones from the takeaway but about 1000 less calories and so much cheaper.

    Thanks Spud:beer:

Aww so glad it was successful Lou :T What did you put into it in the end?

Thanks for the tip on Bio oil too. We've got some already, so will use that once the wound heals ;)

I used 2 large onions and a teaspoon each of Cumin, ground corriander, garam masalla, garlic, chilli powder and curry powder. I also added a tin of chopped tomatoes but I think I might leave them out next time as it made the sauce a bit too tomatoey.

I then fried off (in frylite) some chicken breasts then added the sauce after whizzing it to a smooth sauce with the hand blender.

OH had his out of the pan first then I added a handfull of fresh corriander and a tablespoon of fat free yogurt for me and the boys.

Low fat nan bread and an onion bahjee each with basmati rice..........

    Totally stuffed now:D
