What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Morning everyone! Scrooge - you made me laugh with your last comment - sounds like me, I'm always nodding off on the couch! Well I'm proud to say I didn't eat anything yesterday after my tea - I'm sure if I just stopped snacking in the evening I'd lose weight!

    Hi all
Well I have lost another 1lb which means i have lost a stone since beginning this challenge.:j I couldn't have done it without the support on here. Just logging on here and reading everyones posts has motivated me greatly. So a big thank you to louise and all who post there losses and gains on here. :TNeed to lose another 4lb and then will have reached my target of 9 stone. I think my biggest challenge will not to gain any weight in the next two weeks as I too work term time, so may be a little tempted by all those lovely easter eggs!!!:o

Wow that's a great result utopiah. 9 stone will be fab unless of course you are 3' 6" :rotfl:. Does that mean you'll have to buy a complete new wardrobe full of clothes?

Keep up the good work mookiepook and the posting!
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
  • Can I join this thread please, as need a bit of motivation.

My waist line is creeping up again and not liking how my clothes feel.
I'm 5.4 and about 10s 10lbs. I'm not so much fussed about my actually weight but how I feel and look in my clothes. So will be relying on these more than the scales and going to get the tape measure out too.

I would like to lose 5lbs first by May 3rd. Hopefully won't be too hard, just need to eat sensible and up the exercise. I cycle 4 miles a day to work so a good start.

a loss of 1lb for me,:) (so a little bit of leeway for easter choccy):j I agree with you mookie it is the munchies of an evening which do the damage for me, so I buy the fruit I like and cut it up as I prepare the veg for tea and pop it in the fridge, and for real emergencies I keep ablock of 90% choc. broken into squares in the freezer so they are easy to pick at, and the chocolate satisfies in small amounts so doesnt do so much damage.

Hi everyone. Everhopeful - you and I are twins, we have the same height and roughly the same weight, give or take a couple of pounds. What's your ideal weight? I got down to 9 stone 7 at slimming clubs (twice!) but I couldn't stay that low so now I hope to be about 9.12-10.0. Utopia - I'm term time too, there seems to be a lot of us on here. Well done on losing a stone, that's absolutely brilliant. Mrs Invisible - what a good idea, shall chop up some fruit and have it handy in the fridge. Not sure about the chocolate though, I think that would be too much temptation for me xx
