Thanks Skinty. I somehow managed to regain 1lb every 4 days for the 6 weeks I was naughty :o

I did enjoy it, in fact enjoyed it that much I've just been on there again. Did a bit of running and so far nothing hurts :T
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Morning,
Well, its Monday morning and a fresh start for us all.
Weekends are always a bit interesting for me. They tend to involve alcohol and nibbles and goodness knows what else.
I don't think I did too badly though.

Anyway, this week is going to be a bit tricky cause DH is back and I don't think I'll be able to do my normal 6:30am stint on the cross trainer. I'm going to have to re think when I'm going to do that and also stick to 'normal' eating.

Hope you all start the week off well. :)

    Well done Kiwi,

I sympathise spud, it's so difficult for the weight to come off, but boy it gallops back on.

I had a breakthrough last night. I was supposed to be cooking salmon for tea, but after visiting relatives and doing a couple of mystery audits, I was cream crackered.

DH bought deep fried hamburgers, onion rings, chips and pepperoni pizza from the chip shop for our tea instead . I sat and watched the family eat that lot while I tucked into poached egg on toast with no butter :A. I've never been that disciplined before. There may be hope for me.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Can I join in please? I'm a new member who attends WeightWatchers but I don't find it particularly inspiring! I need to lose around 3 stone, but initially want to aim for 1lb a week until 4th September 2010 - my best friend's wedding! That will be just over a stone and a half which I think is achievable if I can stay away from the junk food (I work next door to a McDonald's drive thru!!)

  • Ok. So I have done an average of 6000 steps each day so far this month.

I have drunk water and cut down crisps and stuff. But some how I have put on 10 pounds since the start of the month.:think:

Thing is I feel better, aside from the morbid tiredness from work. I like the walking it gives me a real chance to chill out after my !!!!!! days.

to say I don't understand the weight gain is an understatement but am surprised that I am not too upset about it.

I guess it will come with a bit more exercise and whatnot but for now I will leave my body to do its thing. am enjoying the walking so what the heck !
    Nevertheless she persisted.
