  • Afternoon All!

Well done to those clearing things!

Pippo I'm also sorry to hear your news, maybe you should have a look at the benefits board to see if you could get help with your rent/mortgage/council tax and remember to use you PPI if you have it, a friend of mine got made redundant and it was the last thing she thought of so just reminding you incase you have it and have forgotten.

Paul your idea of a 'job interview' sounds perfect to me...had your ex-boss been annoyed then you could have told him you were having a wee dram to settle to your nerves!!

I found out today that me wee bro is definitely getting shipped to Afghan in a few months. On one hand I'm delighted for him as he really wants to go and (in his words) kick some Iraqi a$$ but on the other I'm nervous for him. I don't agree with what's going on over there but I'm going to keep quiet and let him enjoy his tour...if enjoy is a word you can use in that context. I know he'll make it home safely, he's a determined wee sod and he'll go far in the RAF...but I'll probably end up spending my pad money sending him chocolates, cans of Irn Bru and naked girl magazines!

Ok third time i have tried to post today

Angelic - you must be very anxious about your brother going to Afghanistan, but try not to worry yourself too much. My stepdad has worked out there for a number of years (he works in security not the army) so understand how anxious you must be feeling about him leaving.
I am sure he will appreicate the naked girl magazines :rotfl:

Pippo - Very sorry to hear about your redudancy, i hope you manage to find something else quickly - i am sure you will get a lot of support on here. Even if it has been impossible to get on her all day

Danko - Well done on paying off the credit card, you must be very pleased!

PAD for me today is £15.32 to savings please!

Oh and green - your dogs sound so cute!! I want them :D
