Thats great how he got in there so young! It must be a fantastic experience in the early days if you're that way inclined - can't say it appeals to me though!

    x

    Doesn't appeal to me either!
I sometimes think there are more Scots in my hometown than there are in Scotland - and I'm in southeast England. ;)

That's what I mean...there's none left up here!

Talking of there being no Scots up here I'm after a bit of advice regarding a wee holiday south of he border and as you guys are closer to there than me :D I thought you could help!

To cut a very long, boring rant very short I want to take Adam away on his birthday to be with people that want to see us, not those who feel they have to because they're family    and I'm thinking about talking the kids down to Leicester for a few days and I'm just really looking for some input into what Leicester is like and if there's anywhere nice that we could stay?

OOOH me me me I'm from Leicester!!! It's brilliant here (but I'm biased...)

Depends what the you and the kids are into really, we have twycross zoo which is good, loads of monkeys :)

Space centre is good but a bit expensive and maybe too old for little ones. In town there is a big shopping centre and then there are loads of free museums, New Walk museum has animals, dinosaurs and egyptian mummies, there are a few others too.

Where you stay depends where abouts in Leics the people you are visiting live, I know of a couple of places around and about. PM or f/b me if you don't want to say on here.

When abouts would you be coming as well because sometimes they do offers for places like conkers which is a kids theme park.

    xx
