I have very little spare cash but even if, like you say a penny a day goes towards my debts then it all helps! I've get two credit cards which I'm trying to do a balance transfer on but in the meantime I can go and pay a bit off one of them. To start with I'll do a pound off my capital one cc.debbiedeejay wrote: »This thread is brilliant - what a really clever idea!
Please could I join in? I think I could do this - have plenty of debt to shift and this may be one idea to help me to keep me motivated - so after reading quiet a few pages I would like to declare todays pad of
£1
Is that ok?I got quiet excited when I actually pressed "make payment":rotfl:
Can't believe I have just paid "a bit extra" off my CC - small steps eh? Love it!:T
Will update siganture later on.
Yay for Pad(di)days!Hi all! Hope you enjoy your new found enthusiasm for debt busting as well as being part of the PaD family.

angelicmary85 wrote: »Basically, you make a payment a day...it really is that simple!
it sure is "simples"! thank you!angelicmary85 wrote: »It could be 1p to a sealed jar/bottle/sewwtie tin or £1000 to a credit card. Some people cout min payments as pads, some don't. we only have one rule and that's to post you're pad in a obvious way to make the totaliser's life easier.angelicmary85 wrote: »Personally, I wouldn't count redeeming points as a pad but it is saving money...I guess it's up to you really!
I guess it does make sense but then again the money i "save" could go towards a PAD!
I guess this MSE newbie is learning fast!! :jangelicmary85 wrote: »You don't need to make any pledges...we're not a cult :rotfl:angelicmary85 wrote: »If you prefer, you can pay the little amounts off every day to your cc's or whatever using online banking to make sure you can't spend it or, like I do, pay a weeks worth of pads in one go then post an amount here everyday (e.g I could pay £7 in one go, then post my pad as £1 a day) I always make sure my pad is divideable by 7 though so it keeps me right! I like to stick to a budget so paying my pads weekly instead of daily helps me more than just plucking a number out of thin air everyday!angelicmary85 wrote: »I really hopes that makes some kind of sense to you!£365 in 365 days challenge: £730 / £1500 -
