  • Welcome to the newbies.

I'm *hoping* my boiler has been fixed now - my parents were round with the plumber earlier and they think it's sorted. Plus he sorted a couple of other little niggly problems including a leaking tap I didn't notice we had :o

Anyway, my parents paid the plumber for me so my PaD is £135 which I have just transferred to my parents' account. I hate owing them money, even if it is just for a few hours!

(Who wants to take bets that the boiler has cut out again when I get home?:rotfl:)

Right, have just applied for a new Virgin CC into which I will do my balance transfer from my Egg and Capital One Card. And my PAD for today is £1Not a lot I know but have also just done a budget planner (very roughly and quickly) and I'm currently overspending by £251 a month:eek: Fortuantely I know of some immediate cuts I can make but need to look into this in more detail when the kiddies are in bed.

    Welcome all newbies!

JoXani - have you thought about posting your SOA (statement of affairs) on the DFW board? You will get lots of helpful ideas on where and how to cut back.

You need to click on "go advanced" at the bottom which gives you a drop down box to change the font type, size, etc :D

  • Bit upset by our mention in the newsletter...

The total didn't state that it was just for last year and they've called it repayment a day...

Naughty Martin...he doesn't pay enough attention to the challenges, although personally mentioning people was a nice touch :)

I am going to do a SOA but I'm going to wait until my husband comes home (he's working away this week) so that we can do it together. Hopefully the small steps I'm taking on here will start to make a dent in things. Every little bit helps!
