Dropped into see my sister on the way to get the food shopping and met her new puppy. He is lovely, very cute and excitable but also very good with the kids. He does get a bit over-excited and nip them occasionally, thinking he's playing but my sister is on top of it.
Spent quite a lot in Asda but got enough for packed lunches for work so should even out as OH won't be buying lunches.
Managed to stuff and attach tails to the monkey torsos last night so might have a go at the arms today.
Will also have to force myself to do shred today as didn't do it yesterday and my self-imposed rule is that I need to do it at least every second day. Will try and do it every day though cos I need to.
OH is watching the Hungarian GP on BBC iplayer so just sitting with him and drinking beer. Should really be doing the ironing. :whistle:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Have had a fairly lazy day but did do shred again. :j Wasn't too bad but was still all flushed. I think I will have to look at moving to level two soonish.
Making cookies atm and trying to just bake them enough to make them chewy but think I took the first batch out too soon as one I moved to the cooling rack fell to pieces and started dripping through the rack.:rotfl: Naturally I had to eat it and it was yum but had to put the others back in the oven a bit longer.
Got two monkey arms stitched last night so will try and do the other two tonight and stuff them all if I'm feeling energetic.
Having a giant pizza from asda tonight and OH is bringing home beer. :j Should really stop drinking so much beer but if he brings it home I'm not going to say no.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I don't feel anywhere near as achy today even though I was majorly panting yesterday, so I think it's level 2 for me! The only thing I'm doing easier is the push-upsBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Can't join you on the shredding, far too overweight, it would probably kill me, but well done on keeping up with the sock monkeys.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Psycho, you must be much fitter than me, I was aching all over for the first 3 or 4 days.
I really can't do proper push-ups either - it's too hard!
Gilli, you should join in the torture that is shred - it makes me feel better to know others are suffering. :rotfl: I thought I would die the first time but it's getting (slowly) easier.
My mum told me someone in her work would be interested in buying one of my monkeys. She said to let her know when I'm making them to sell.Just need to practice a bit more to make them more polished before doing that though.
I'm trying to do a bit a day on the monkeys so that I make the ones I want to - all my nieces and nephews have birthdays in the next two months, OH wants one for his new office at work and one for his friend's birthday also in September. :eek:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I would really buy one, a pirate or camo one!! For a christmas present though so you have a while to practise :-) x
I can only feel a tiny ache in my calves and stomach but nowhere near as much as the first day. Push ups are dead hard, I can only go about 4 inches down!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Well done on Shred :T It's amazing and very motivating how quickly you can get fit. I can't do one press-up either, but a box one is better than nothing!
Keep it up0 -
Thanks psycho - I will need till then to perfect the monkeys. :rotfl:
Thanks mac, think I was a bit optimistic about moving to level 2 - it nearly killed me! Very, very hard and I had to sit some of it out. Not sure if I'm ready for it! I don't even want to know what level 3 is like.
Mentioned on the pad thread that a girl playing a game on Scott Mills' show this morning also mentioned shred. :rotfl: It's taking over! It did make me giggle this morning though.
I do feel a bit more toned up since doing shred but not sure if I look more toned -probably not yet. It has made me notice how many flabby bits I have though - yuck!
Managed to sew the last two monkey arms last night and stuff them all. Will try and sew them on to the bodies today and start the ears if I can be bothered.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Hmmm I think I'm going to try Level 2, as I just don't feel achy after Level 1 now although I didn't do it yesterday. Is it really a lot harder than Level 1? Bit scared now!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Psycho, I would give it a go and see how you feel. Remember I'm really unfit!
I found it a lot more demanding than level 1 but I suppose that's the point!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0
