My sister used to do the same, the more she cried and carried on, the more I would laugh and she would have a tantrum,"Stop laughing at me!" followed by ear-splitting screaming - which made me laugh more.

    You are wicked :naughty:

:rotfl:@Wesker - my sister was hilarious when she went into one of her fits. When my nephew started acting like her after hurting his knee (very slightly) I couldn't stop myself from laughing and imitating his exaggerated limp much to his displeasure. :o

Nothing exciting to report, went to the library yesterday and got myself some books. Also got my 8yo nephew an assortment of books with titles such as "Pants", "Meet the Weirds" and "Rotten school" - thought they would appeal to him. :rotfl:

Met my mum in the town yesterday and spent the afternoon with her and my twin nieces in the garden. They're nearly two and call everyone they want attention from "Mum", so me, my mum and my brother were called mum repeatedly. :D

Nothing much planned for today but have been watching repeats of Cranford on tv (didn't see it first time) and crying like a twit at it. :o

OH's friend, his wife and their two yo are coming up to see us next month and have booked their hotel. At first they wanted to stay with us but a two bedroom flat (and one bedroom is actually more like an office and doesn't have a bed) isn't big enough for four adults and a toddler. Not sure I'm looking forward to it tbh, OH's friend is fine but his wife can be a bit funny with me and I've seen their toddler twice. Hopefully I'll be working by then though, as I think OH's friend's wife will be a bit sniffy with me if I'm not. :(

Nothing much planned for today and am a bit bored tbh. Have got a really sore thumb joint - think I've been online too much and have repetitive strain injury or something. :o

Burned the tip of my finger making dinner last night and it was sooo sore. Finished making dinner one-handed as had to keep my burnt fingertip in water and ice. Ouch. It now has a slight blister.

Managed to cash out £10 Paypal from Ciao surveys yesterday which I was quite pleased with. Thought I only had about a fiver there. :T Will be ages before I get it though - takes 6-8 weeks.

A couple of friends came over yesterday afternoon for a bit which was good as I was very bored.

OH and I were naughty though and had a chinese for dinner which was quite yum.

Doubt we will be up to much today since we're skint and OH isn't feeling great. Looking like a nice day outside though - sunny with a nice breeze.

Thinking of lasagne for dinner tonight but depends on how OH is feeling as it's his recipe and I "do it wrong" apparently.:rotfl:He usually throws me out of the kitchen when he's making it.

Hi saving, :rotfl:@ doing the lasagne wrong on purpose - would I do that? ;) :rotfl:

No, not heard anything from applications and not many jobs about generally. Have got another assessment on Tuesday though, so keeping my fingers crossed that I pass the assessments and interview. Good luck finding a second job that fits in.

Cats are moaning for their dinner, suppose I'd better feed them since my boy cat keeps walking up to me and staring right at me while he meows. I think he's saying "It's dinner time - feed us now you silly humans". :D

Didn't get up to much yesterday - did a bit of housework and practising for my assessment on Tuesday. Will need to do some more practise today as well as having a think about likely interview questions, as interview will be straight after the assessment if I pass.

Feeling quite sick about it and really need to get this job. If I don't get it I really don't know what I'll do as really struggling to find anything. :(

So plans for today are mostly interview prep with a bit of housework thrown in. Also need to decide what to wear to interview and find out exactly where I'm going (Google street view is my friend) plus train times etc.

Trying not to worry too much but was finding it difficult to sleep last night so tonight will be even worse. :(

Had my assessment and interview today and was feeling quite sick about it this morning. When I arrived there were 7 other people there for the job.

There were three parts to the assessment and the interviewers cut people after each part. I managed to pass the assessments and there were four people (including me) left for the interview. I think the interview went fairly well and the interviewers were very nice. Also found out there are two vacancies going, not only one as I thought. :j Should hear by the end of the week and hoping that I get it, at least I have a good chance. :) If I don't get one of the posts there's always the chance of being kept on reserve for a similar one if the interviewers liked me.

It's lovely and sunny again here, just wish I had a garden to enjoy it. Need to have a good dig about in my cupboards for something nice for dinner as not sure what to make.

Managed to post a new review on Ciao last night so have been doing some reading and rating there.

Got up at a decent time and have managed to do all my cleaning and put a washing on. Really need to do some baking as well as we have no biscuits or sweet things and OH will start complaining soon!

I think I'll make Weezl's onion tart for dinner tonight but need to check that I hav enough onion first.

Again nothing much planned for today, hoping to hear back from my interview yesterday though.

My brother is starting driving lessons this week and is all excited about it. He also managed to get his dad to pay for it - almost unheard of as he's really tight with money.:D

bit of a tip, if you cook the onions for less long then you don't need so many to fill your pie dish. We got away with 575g t'other day.

    HTH love weezl x
