Got a bit of a feeling I'm being taken for a ride.....it's been growing as the day has gone on.......won't explain more as my radar could be a bit screwy and I don't want to look a ninky nonk but you know when you get a niggling feeling that just won't go away? Hmmmm.....just going to listen to the sounds of life over the coming days before making a move...
Other news...well, not much really. It is my ex's birthday today and we haven't done cards etc for the last few years but I thought there's a chance it will be the last he'll have living here and also because he isn't working I felt a bit sorry for him so I bought him a card and a little gift, some cheeses, posh crackers and a little bottle of raspberry liquor. He really liked the gift (he's also a foody like me) and at least the card didn't make the only other one he had (from his Mum) look too lonely."Stay Wonky":D

how bizarre. Where is my last post?? I wrote it was a situation rather than a 'whom' but my radar seems a bit switched on and I am going to quietly monitor what happens over the next few days......
I also said 'sweetie' - can't think i've ever been called that before ! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

I am very happy girl. I had my teaching observation feedback this morning. I knew I was pleased with how it went, but I cried at the grade I was given
. I got a 1, which is the highest grade that can be given. I'm the first tutor to get a 1 this academic year and as it's only my second year of teaching, I was astounded. I knew I was on for a minimum of a 2 because I wasn't going to be re-observed (I'd have have been happy with that!) but a 1 is a bit of a holy grail here and I couldn't believe it when I was given the sheet with the grade on it.
Not sure where to go from here really, other than trying to maintain that standard, which will be really hard next year - if I carry on teaching."Stay Wonky":D
