  • a thought.........now I know what I'm getting for the car, should I pay off my Barclaycard in full with my overdraft facility to ensure I don't get any interest charged in my CC? Then as soon as the cheque arrives the o/d will be cleared again. I'm just wondering - if the cheque takes a while, I could end up with a month's worth of interest added on to my CC.

  • took Thunder to Somerfield (he gets all the best gigs :rotfl: ) as they have a great offer on - sirloin steak is half price and then if you spend £10, they have a £2 off voucher available next to the meat. I got 6 really decent size sirloin steaks (around 8 ounces each) which came just just over £8 with the voucher - less than £1.50 each :D

  • have to say it was really nice. Had a piece with chips and peppercorn sauce last night. Yum. Going to do a packet tomorrow night with wraps and have frozen the other packet.

I have totally wasted this weekend, I've done nothing constructive at all other than normal stuff like washing/ironing/washing up. I am a very lazy mare as I should have been putting together the course work/scheme of work/lesson plans for after half term. I've got all week to do it I guess.

You see the Weekend is called the Weekend for a reason, dont feel guilty for not working in it, I would much rather do extra during the week and have Sat and Sun to please myself;)
