leftover speciality cheeses

I've got some cheese that no-one in the family likes, it's cheddar with apple and mustard. I'm loathe to throw it away and was thinking if I used it in a lasagne or something would the taste not be noticable or would it just ruin it? There's about 100 grams.0

Definitely use it in a cheese sauce or maybe savoury muffins/scones.Put the kettle on.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I'll give it a go in something big to spread the taste out. I'd tried it as cheese on toast and it was yukky. It's the mustard in it I don't like.0 -
could you use half of it and half cheddar to weaken the strong taste? That's what I would try. And freeze some

There's only 100g altogether;). We are talking about 80p - £1 worth of cheese.
By the time you've faffed about spoiling two or three pieces of food with it you might as well bin it.
Or you could send it to me.;)0 -
The flavours in the cheese sound like they would be great in some sort of savoury cheesecake!0
