Still undecided on toaster and kettle. The table and chairs we want are £900, the ones we are going to look at tomorrow are similar but 2nd hand and £60:eek:

Oh wow, that would be an absolute bargain!! Fingers crossed that you like them (then more money to spend on toaster & kettle :rotfl:).0

So how were the table and chairs?:)0

Sadly the table and chairs were not for us:( Gutted!
Got a phone call at lunch time asking me to do a last minute MShop, already had one under my belt for today and was persuaded with some extra wonga(;)) to do this one too! This week has been a very good one for decently paying MShops.
Next week I have four MShops booked for Monday aswell as having to put the car in the garage (again...lets hope they actually ordered the part this time) Extra shift on Tuesday but other than that nothing much else to report, hopefully more MShops will turn up.

Thought you were more of a wine fan than a budweiser. :rotfl:Hope you enjoyed it.
Talking of spending money, we were quoted £12,100 today for a new boiler and bathroom. :eek: At first it was nearer £14k. Myself and DH nearly fainted at that. The design was beautiful, but wow - the price. God help me if i had mega expensive tastes.0 -

OMG! Our boiler, a Valiant, big enough for a basic 5 bedroom house (just incase we ever decided to do an extension!) cost around £2,400 3 years ago. We have found it very economical. As for the bathroom :eek:, is it BIG?
Aw I love budweiser almost as much as Cava!

I wish our bathroom was big - might make it more bearable.
£2850 for boiler stuff meaning £9250 for the bathroom. It's not that big, but the airing cupboard and tank need ripping out, the suite is being moved around to maximise space, fitted units around the loo and sink plus vanity unit. Scary stuff.
3 weeks worth of work they reckon for a couple of men at least.
We want a Valiant too. BG gave us a £4k quote just for the boiler stuff.
If we go with these this would at least mean lots of work by one company which is probably best to help me sort it all out with the 2 kids underfeet. I'm already dreading 3 weeks without the bathroom with one kid needing the loo ALL the time and a nearly 2 year old who is already wanting to potty train. I wish you could do it in an instant with a click of the fingers rather than all the mess/inconvenience.0 -
Having a rather unproductive day today:(. Have done some washing and managed to get a couple of loads dry on the line, which is always a bonus. Started ironing; did work clothes then gave up!
Have spent the rest of the day watching TV and surfing the net:eek:

Having a day where you do what you want is as productive as it gets in my book :T (says she, off for a bath at 4 in the afternoon
)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
