I'm just popping in to say well done on your spring clean :) but have to admit that I don't iron anything :o Thou I think that DH may iron his shirts for work

LOL:rotfl:How on earth do you find a wardrobe full of clothes that don't need ironing?! Ah, now I am a 'larger lady' so none of my stuff is fitted so it all needs ironing, I even ironed my jim jams, I love jim jams best!

I am so tired today, hubby did a 16 hour shift in work yesterday which is just rediculous......I stayed awake worrying about him driving home as I knew he would be overly tired. He needs to learn to deligate, but he only seems to be good at that at home:( It wouldn't be so bad, but he doesn't even get paid for working overtime, it's all accounted for in his wages...apparently:mad:

Got 2 MSs to do tomorrow after work (one paying very well and the other not too badly!) Fingers crossed they go well.

I am going to get an early night with a nightcap of 'Nightnurse'.

Somthing truely shocking happened to me in Sainsburys tonight:eek:

On my return from my 'after proper work Mshop', I decided to pop into Sainsburys for something scrummy for tea. Whilst I was browsing the store someone put a box of Budweiser in my trolley. I managed to put it on the conveyor belt and pay for it, it wasn't till I got to my car I realised I had it:eek:. Do you think I should report this to Sainsburys as obviously I would not have purchased said alcohol on my own accord:cool:.

Today was a busy, busy one, other than the shocking occurance in Sainsbuys, work was manic and I managed two MShops!

That made me have a chuckle. It's a shame they didn't put it in your trolley after you had paid. ;)

Its the sort of thing the kids try to do to me all the time. It was a tin of prunes by DS1 last weekend but i spotted it and skillfully removed before paying. If it was something nice i might have let him have it. :D

  • Random I know, but I find my mind wandering this morning to thinking about Stuart and his family and wondering how they are all managing at this difficult time.
We haven't had an update from him in ages, I know on his diary he said he would be working away for a couple of weeks; I do hope he is ok. Funny how we take our Cyberfriends into our hearts.

:)I keep chatting to DH about my friends who are doing up their kitchens and when asked which friends I find mysef blushing and having to explain that we've never met but we're cyberfriends :o This from a girl who refuses to go on facebook!

I'm sure when Stuart comes back he'll let us know he's ok. i'm sure he knows that we're thinking of him.

I've been thinking of him as well, hope all as well as possible in his world :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Bad day....just 'proper work' no MSs:(.

I do have one tomorrow though, I am also going to look at a table and chairs tomorrow, which if suitable would save us a fortune.

Just scoffed some toffee with nuts and am on the red wine now...OMG its not even 7pm yet!

  • Wow, you seem to be on a spending spree frenzy!! :rotfl:
Actually I'm only jealous because I've been after a new table & chairs for months!! For Christmas we had to bring the outside garden table & chairs in to use!! :o Usually it's a 'TV dinner', which I hate doing!!
Nearly bought one a few weeks ago, it was in the sale with £200 off, but then hubby's car failed it's MOT (miserably :() & we've had to commit to buying a new car instead.

Btw, did you ever decide on a kettle & toaster??
