So by the end of the year you'll have earned enough to pay for your worktops :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That is sooooooooooo depressing! Especially as the overtime in work doesn't tend to happen between May and September:eek:. Perhaps I should just have a quieter life and keep the kitchen I have. Oh S**t too late, its all signed up for:o

Buying extra memory might help here. Mr Smf2 put new memory into my lap top at Christmas and it's like a new machine:)
The kitchen will be great. By-the-way it's far to early to be getting cold feet. This should ideally happen when you're knee deep in dust and muck and your life is total chaos:rotfl:0 -

Actually feet are more than cold this am, they are freezing...ah thats probably 'cause I've been outside with no socks on and although the sun is shining its cold, cold, cold:rotfl:

I'm home! All M shops done and written up, I left at 10.30am and have just finished at 3.30pm, working on about £11 an hour after expenses for today, not too bad for a flexible part time job.:p If only all Ms's paid a half decent wage!!

EDIT: hmm, forgot I spent 2 hours preparing the day before, so not quiet such good pay, but even so..not bad!MFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
Afternoon all.
Today I have been on the exciting treadmill that is the thrill of washing, drying, ironing, washing, drying more ironing, more washing, more drying and even more ironing........and now I am on strike! No more ironing today:( There is still a mountain to do, the pile is almost as tall as me:eek:(and no i'm not tiny):p. This is the problem when the sun comes out, I have the urge to wash everthing as finally it can be dried outside...............trouble is I absolutly detest the ironing that this creates. I'm almost glad I'm going to work tonight, now that wrong, very wrong!
Other than the awful domestic bliss I don't have mush else to report about, except I have picked up a fairly lucrative MS for Thursday evening, one for Thursday lunch time unfortuantly they don't involve food........poo! Oh yes and another two for Saturday, so this weeks total should be a respectable 9 mystery shops and one overtime shift although I have had an extra day off this week due to needing to use up leave before the end of the financial year.

Snap RE: the ironing pile from hell and doing lots of washing. Mine is balanced precariously on a chair that rocks in the living room, and every time the kids went near it today it wobbled, and yet i am still on here this evening and not attempting it. I know it will cause me more stress tomorrow, but what the heck.
Well done on all the MS assignments.Keeping you busy.0 -
Well done on all the MS I must admit after a flurry in January I did one in Feb and 1 in March so far mind you we have had family over.
Sounds like the kitchen is coming together and I am totally with you with the cost. We did our bathroom last year local fitter stuff from the bathstore. Everything we liked was expensive spent £300 on tiles for behind the taps in the bath but its what we wanted and it looks fab. I justified it in as much as the cost of labour is the expensive. Not done our kitchen its 15 years old but we choose it when we moved in and its nice and plain so can last a bit longer.Save £12k in 25 No 49
