I'm glad others share their things on here that they don't in real life. My DH knows bits about what I write on here and if he was really that bothered he knows what my username is and could find out. He knows I have nothing to hide though and I just vent on here.
We've had a couple of...tense moments because I can be slightly more frank on here than I am in real life. But all is well.
GG what a coincidence....I'm really a Trevor too!
Look after yourself TPA...you are one of the people that inspire me to keep doing what I'm doing. I only wish I was as dedicated to the cause as you! Please remember to look after you though, as noble as your intentions for the future are...you'll be no good if you drive yourself into the ground! Still, sounds like you have identified your "warning" signs.

Thank you, it's nice to think I might have inspired others to be a bit bonkers too!:rotfl:See I can still laugh through the tears.
Bless ya TPA you've been through it. I think I can understand the 'dark cloud' thing have been on the old happy pills myself and have had weeks lately where I cut my self off and wonder if I should go back on them again especially with the upheaval of the redundancy etc.
Treat yourself and be good to yourself and when you cant rant at us, its what we're here for..... xxx
I used to worry about getting off the pills, but as they keep me level headed (the majority of the time), I have come to respect them for the job they do for me and have now got my head around being on them for the rest of my life if need be. All be it sometimes at a higher dose when things get grey and when the white clouds come back keep on a maintenece level, respecting the fact I need to keep the black clouds at a distance!
A major group hug is needed. See smf post fr a man fest!

Don't get above yourself TPA, we were bonkers already, we just recognise a kindred spiritA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

take care of yourself 1st.
Another one on the happy pills here, although trying to come off them at the moment. I was fighting the quagmire for a good few years before taking them though, so i know where you are coming from.
More hugs from me. x0 -

Hi TPA
You are an inspiration to so many on here, so please never doubt yourself and please don't stop posting :T
When I first read your diary, I was inspired to argue with the council tax office about why other people could pay the council tax bill with a credit card and I coudn't (I have become a secret TPA can you form a self help group) :rotfl:
My mum suffers with depression so although I can't understand excatly how you feel, I understand the self doubting, as my mum goes through to the point that she can't face getting dressed somedays
I also need tips on how to clean houmous off the keyboard at work, due to reading about Trevor on here with a gob full of food :rotfl:Mortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Radish............you didn't know about Trevor until today:eek:
I have taken some advice from you bossy lot (:p) and am going to take some holiday leave next week. I will still do my one evening but will restrict any MShopping to one day only and no 'proper day work'. Comprimise comprimise.
setmefree, I am very lucky to have a Mum like mine, she is one of those people who everyone loves as soon as they meet her, she is a darling and a little batty which helps with her lovability too! She comes out with the funniest things and I swear I should have written a book over the years about her 'funnies'. She once told me that her and my Dad were going to have a Fiesta, (I said what one each, thinking she meant a Ford)?? She said yes one everyday........hmm, me thinks she might have meant siesta!
Thank you all for your fabulous support, for making me laugh and cry all at the same time. With you lot I can do this!

Good news, not on the money front but on the sanity front at least!
A dear friend who lives abroad has just emailed to say she is running in the Dublin marthon in October and would love to met up with us there. We are going to go:j. She lost her Dad this year to whom she is very close, so we would love to see her again and give her a big hug.
Problem being it is over the bank holiday in Ireland so I don't think it will be cheap..hubby has looked up flights and they are ok coming in a about £60 each:j but me thinks the hotel will be expensive..anyone any knowledge on hotels in Dublin?? Perhaps some of my Tesco vouchers could come in useful???
Feeling like i'm turning a corner already.
