Will mean being off shifts so may have to take a slight paycut or freeze to get my evenings and weekends back. Will be suited and booted for this. Not mucking around. Even though it is an internal application I am going all out as it is a vertical position.

Have a job interview on Friday. Need to hit the interview revision as well as do all the clothing prep. Why did I agree to moving it forward. Oh yeah to show I am flexible and willing to go the extra mile.

Good plan Poolie. And best of luck. NIM has a 3 1/2 hour interview the day before the wedding - I'm hoping that'll impress them too!

Suits were due to arrive today, and they haven't. Suit hire company say they'll be there next Wednesday instead, mum is spitting blood!

    Hi Dinah

Here's Dubai currency fixed! and Maldives plus the travel money maximiser. Are you sure you need a present for the person who's reading? In my circles it's a big honour and the person should be delighted. What about just getting a nice card as it's about the sentiment most of all?

For the playlists - need some inspiration? If you have Spotify you can look up everyone else's here or others here and here just from googling. HTH :)

The Dubai link doesn't exist :D But thank you for findin them for me.

You could well be right about the presents for readers. I got one for the girl doing it as she was also decorating the church, but now shes not doing it I might just keep it!

Hey everyone, hope you're all good.

Sorry to hear you're having stress with the wedding Dinah. I agree though that I'd keep the professionals and get a friend to do the later photos.

Feeling any better Birdie? I hate it when you're ill and you just have to stick it out so I hope you feel better soon.

Good luck Poolie with the interview!

Lara I know what you mean, I'm scared and excited just at the prospect of 9 weeks without OH if I do Camp America! Hopefully it'll fly by though :)

Glad to hear living together is going well Tete :) My Dad is a carpenter so I plan to request a whole wall of shelves for my books! How are the plates btw? Are they good quality?

I've been busy doing my uni work, and working at a playscheme for children with disabilites which has been fun. Had some sad news the other day though which has put me on a bit of a downer. A boy who has been in my class at school since primary school died of leukemia on Saturday and he only found out he had it on the Friday. It's very sad, he was only 21 and everyone is devastated. :(

    Hi all,

Hope the wedding isn't stressing you out too much Dinah! What job is NIm being interveiwed for?

Poddle - hope the interview goes well!

Lara - is that SW4 that you got tickets for?

Zig - really sorry to hear about the boy from your school, is so sad when someone dies so young.

Everything is good with me, been pretty busy but is payday tomorrow and I am finally not going to be in debt with my Dad anymore, can't wait.

That's fantastic you're going to have cleared all the debt with your Dad, you must be really pleased. (The tickets were for LED festival - big fingers crossed for tomorrow that we can blag it!)

Zig so sorry to hear about your friend, that's really sad. (Exciting news on Camp America though).

Sorry to hear about your school friend Zig, that's so sad. It just reminds you that life is short and precious so enjoy it. Have you got into Camp America or are you still waiting to find out if you're definitely in?

I'm still no better, no worse either. Just the same. And bored! Rang up for my blood test results this morning and they have no idea what's wrong with me! Brilliant.

Well done on clearing the Dad Debt Wendz!

I don't know how you are managing to make so many cakes for the wedding Dinah, I made one yesterday and it was more than enough for me... and the poor kitchen! Tastes nice though!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
