Oh what a pain Tete! You might still be in with a chance if he liked you though... maybe if you send a cake along with the application? ;)

Haha, hadn't thought of that and it's a bit late now! Not sure about such overt bribery also... might consider it as a thank you if (fingers crossed) we get it. Trying to look on the bright side - he's sort of in the building trade and OH has said he'll put work his way ... and the fact that they rang up to make sure we were applying sounds vaguely promising? I just don't know what we'll do if we don't get it, having pets really really limits you :(

I'm absolutely staggered there are 3 applications for one rental house in so little time! And look on the bright side - one of the other couples might have a dog. Or be DSS.

Would have thought within a week, long enough to check references and a credit check.

Have the other applcations just gone in today too? If so you're on a level with them IYKWIM! The other applicants may not have met the landlord so he may choose you because he's already met you and liked you.

Got my fingers crossed for you! I think when OH moved in with his brother it didn't even take a full week for the checks to go through so it may be sooner, I hope it is for your sanity's sake!

Don't know Birdie, like I say it only went up to let last Monday and as the agents do everything by post () anf they need actualy references rather than just names of referees I can't imagine anyone would have been able to turn around much quicker than us. I think the landlord was handling all the viewings actually so hopefully OH schmoozed him enough with his builder talk!

I haven't done a to do list for a while on here, I've just been continually updating a notepad document. I think I probably got more done when I crossed things off weekly!

This week is a very simple to do list though:
    • Finish inside veil seam
    • Read business link documents and write business plan and cashflow projections
    • Keep matched betting money moving
    • Order hair comb for wedding outfit
Have a lot more things need doing, but these are the priority for the week and its only if I get them all done I can consider doing anything else.
