Pssh, don't be silly! Grab a cuppa, get your feet up and put the telly on. Or watch a movie :D Sounds like you've been working pretty hard, take a day to relax!

Hope everyone's okay today! Got the afternoon to myself as OH is working so I'm off... SUPERMARKET SHOPPING.. Woo! The sheer excitement of it is near killing me I swear.

    I love supermarket shopping :D:o

My legs are knackered, but if i spend all day sitting around i might as well of gone to work! The thing is, last night i done the dishwasher, had a little tidy up and put on 2 loads of washing because i wanted to sleep in today. The house needs a clean, but thats the one thing i dont want to be doing on my day off :p:rotfl:

You ladies with dance phobic OH's will be thankful of that if you saw my OH dance! We're both pretty awful to be fair... and once we've had a few drinkies we're a hazard! I remember being swung around and kicking at least 3 people in the process, we were given a (very) wide berth after that! What's our first dance going to be like?!

Lulu, I remembered this morning as I was brushing my teeth (I don't know why but I always remember things when I'm brushing my teeth!) that you'd said you wanted to pick my brains about The Dom Rep- what do you want to know?

Well we found some good deals online and the top few results were for the RIU hotels out there, which is fine by me as i've stayed in their chain before. But was just wondering the sort of prices you've paid before (if thats not too cheeky :o) and what there is to do there..any excursions or local attraction type things?

Not that we'd be going this soon, but would like to weigh up our options :D

I'm making soup and wrapping my nieces birthday presents (its her birthday tomorrow and i have to work - boo!), so they are my productive things of the day lol

Well I've jst booked NIMs birthday pressie. I really don't think its anything he would ever expect, but hopefully he'll love it. And I think it is a nice treat for us both too. Not posting on here, but for anyone who isn't NIM and is curious, follow the link. Daft thing is I probably spend about that on little bits and pieces, so this is a much better use of the money.

    Wow that's a present and a half!

Lulu, it cost us about £900pp when we went last year (£960 this time) and you don't really have to spend anything else whilst your there as all food and drink (cocktails too!) are included. There are plenty trips to do, we did Ocean World which was fab, really personal feeling because it's quite small and the people are super nice and talk to you lots. We swam with nurse sharks which was brilliant, next time we're swimming with dolphins! We also did the City Tour which included a trip to the amber museum, the rum factory (yum! We were drinking rum at 9.30 in the morning!) and a cable car which took us mount Isabella de Torres (I think) where there's a statue of Jesus like the one in Rio. There are also plenty of trips to go snorkelling, scuba diving, lazing on catamarans etc and something called 'Jungle Safari' which sounded a little odd as you go to see locals so it looked like you were going on safari to see poor people  we don't much fancy that one! Once I get home I'll send you a link to my FB so you can see my pictures if you want? Hey, if you come the 3rd week of feb you may see a pretty girl get married! ;)

    I want to go!!! :D
It sounds just what we're after! Thats the sort of price we've seen for 2 weeks, which is what we want as we usually only go for a week. My sort of holiday for sure!

Yes send me the link definitely! I like being nosey :rotfl:
I've taken down the majority of my pics because i had a weirdo facebook stalker, but thats a story for another day!

Dinah its a pretty safe bet that he'll love that present! :D

I keep compulsively checking my Tesco clubcard points for the next release in August - I'd love it if we could book New York before we go on honeymoon, so we have a next holiday to look forward to. Although with the ammount of points we get we might be able to go on a spring holiday anyway, so maybe its better not to get enough vouchers, as I'd only want to spend them!

Lol Dinah you're so ambitious! Most people would be happy that they were going on honeymoon/holiday of a lifetime rather than worrying about having nothing to look forward to when you get back!

What are the Tesco clubcard holiday options like? Is there anywhere that just does flights or are all they packages?

ETA: What a great birthday pressie - lucky NIM :)
