Aye that would make sense, however if we are not satisfied with the outcome of their own internal complaints precedure its for us to pay for one in order to complain legally or to RICS.

Thank you lovie!! Was just catching up with your wedding thread, love it! :D

Im just generally happier, OH has treated me recently to a bunch of new clothes, nothing fancy, just essentials that have made me feel a bit more confident :D

Also we have been out a bit more with friends & family and treating ourselves to stuff (like the takeaway thats on its way haha) rather than gambling it all away. I've also bought a few pretty things with Toluna vouchers etc. Its just nice. Not perfect but considerably better! :D

CMD - the wedding sounds lovely and baby max sounds like he was an angel at the wedding! My friend who had her baby at the same sort of time as you was telling me the other day how apparently when she was on the gas and air she said 'wheres wendy?' and the midwife asked if she is usually with me when she is drunk as the gas and air has the same effect haha. I am proud to be part of the birth :rotfl:

We are on holiday in two days and are pretty much organised, just need to finish packing!

Lol at your friend in labour saying your name!!!

Where are you off on hols?

Just got the quote from the builder. £1761. Which is about £100 more than I was hoping for, and it doesnt seem to include plastering the conservatory so that needs to be clarified. I do think that its going to add more value to the house than it costs though. NIM is going to email back and get some things clarified this evening.

That quote sounds very decent :)

Hopefully you get the surveyours and the builder sorted out. Just had my payrise and bonus letter and a very happy chappy. Just need to find somewhere to put £2000 at a decent interest rate for 12 months. Any ideas?

For any of you lovely ladies (and Poolie) who hasn't seen the weekly email yet. There is a Tesco code for 1000 points (£40 of deals) with a £50 spend in it. Its likely to be used up very quickly! I just used it with NIMs card to order our suncreams for the honeymoon and some cheapy promo brillo pads, dishwasher cleaner, dishwasher powder etc which won't go out of date. All spends we'd have made anyway so might as well get a load of deals for it! If you're going on holiday all the nivea and ambre solaire suncreams are half price atm, so a real bargain to be had.

Hi everyone! Haven't checked the thread for a while as I've been working flat out. We had to take the cat to an out-of-hours vet on Saturday night because she's picked up a bladder infection and was in a lot of discomfort. She got some tablets etc but the fee was eye-watering! She had a check-up appointment with her regular vet on Monday and that was another expense on top so I've shelled out the best part of an unexpected £200 in the space of a few days! That really wasn't planned for so I'm frantically working my backside off to get back on an even keel again asap. Thankfully I've got one freelance payment due to come in the next few days but not sure yet when the bigger one that I'm waiting on will materialise. On the plus side, the vet gave gave her an anti-inflammatory injection on Monday to ease the discomfort and she's regained her appetite no end since then! Wish it would last as she's seriously underweight compared to 2-3 months ago.

Sorry that my news is all cat-related!
