Not so bad now I have found an 0800 for ebookers since we are still trying to sort out the ticket refund.

Good idea! Hope she gets everything back, what a pain having to deal with a big phone bill on top of all the other hassle!

Dinah, I love my Slanket! I tuck it round me because it's so big and get all warm and cosy. I do kind of hobble around with it on too if I'm just getting up for a drink or whatever... I've even had it keep me warm in bed before- my arms were in the sleeves and everything! I'm always cold and was forever cuddled up under a blanket but had the problem of not being able to do anything whilst cocooned in my fleecy shell so I love the sleeves, it means I can eat chocolate and stay warm!

Ooh the slankets look lovely. I fear if I put one on I might never leave the house again. They are so cosy looking :)

Mine was one of the best presents I ever got! The only problem is that OH has cottoned on to how good it is and steals it from me! We need a double one with 4 sleeves so we can get under it together!

I have a thick fleecy blanket I snuggle under anyway, and its a lot thicker than the slanket, I think thats why I wasn;t chuffed with it, it wasn't warm enough!

I know what you mean about it not being really thick. It's just right for my flat which is fairly warm to regular humans (but too cold for me!) but in OH's old flat it used to be a little too thin to do a really good job of warming me. I'd put a small blanket around my legs and my slanket on the top and then I was toasty warm and not moving anywhere!

  • I've never heard of a slanket but am a big fan of my dressing gown! When I'm cold I put my electric blanket on and sit on my bed!

Freezing today, keep meaning to bring my hot water bottle in to snuggle up to!

oooh all this talk of being warm and cozy is not making me want to start todays revision!!!!
I would rather go back to bed lol. I actually couldnt sleep last night because I was so cold!
I bought this new dress when i couldnt sleep though which i had been umming and arhing about it yesterday. I have to go to the boys work party next week and I wont know anyone so I want to feel nice and I think this dress is more suited for a cold barn than most of my other stuff - well the stuff I have here at home, i left loads of clothes at uni!! Thinking of wearing it with really thick black tights and some massive gold heels I have, and maybe some tasteful chunky gold... what do you think? kinda means I have to work a little harder on my no spends though, and drive anywhere ultra efficiently and write more reviews!

Its a really nice dress tink, but aye it still does look a little chilly! Takes some confidence to pull off something that tight. Can you explain this visable zips thing to me? I just dont get why they are so obvious this season, can't say I'm a fan, things are so heavy they pull down the line of the dress!

Wow, if you have the figure for that dress then I say go for it! You can always wear a heavy coat and if you have thick tights you will be fine. Like the idea of the gold heels. I have gold wedges that I love wearing but they are in the cupboard since I got pregant. Next summer though!

CMD - my friend is due the 20th of Feb.

Website crashed as i tried to look at that dress. Grr! It sounds like a nice outfit though.

I was boiling in bed last night, woke up sweating yuck! Not sure if heating was on too high or if I am coming down with something.
