Right I've been in a lot of pain this evening and not really able to focus on anything. That said, I've had a canny bit of time to think. Because I'm so doped up on painkillers I get maybe 2-3 useful hours a day if I'm lucky. And I keep loosing track of time. So to try to structure my time a little more I'm going to have a to do list for the week, hopefully I can try to cross off one or two things a day.

    1. Find Maldives book
    2. Find out which of the resorts we'd like
    3. Negotiate on prices and see if we can get a better deal
    4. Book honeymoon
    5. List my paintings on Etsy
    6. List 5 more photos on Etsy
    7. Make 20 forum posts on Etsy
    8. Buy some embroidery thread
    9. Come up with a design for my new painting idea
    10. Call invitations lady
    11. Cut pictures out of last 3 wedding magazines
    12. Fill in cat insurance claim forms and take to vets
    13. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    14. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    15. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    16. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    17. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    18. Do 4 pages in sewing book
    19. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    20. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    21. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    22. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    23. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    24. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    25. Write up 2 items in turbo lister
    26. Write 3 reviews
    27. Write 3 reviews
    28. Write 3 reviews
    29. Suggest remaining stack of books to Dooyoo
    30. Make a list of local wedding car suppliers
I know how I feel at the moment, so I'm actually aiming to complete half this list, thats 15 things, and I'll be chuffed with that.

I bought the last of the stock today for the £100- £10k challenge tonight, some cheap fancy dress costumes I should be able to sell on again for £10 profit each. Now I just need things to start arriving!

Mental isn't it?! OH had to fork that out every 6 weeks for his insurance when he was off. I think he managed to haggle them down a bit by the end of his time off!

Happy belated birthday CMD, it sounds like you had a nice day with lovely presents! How jealous am I of your pretty purple laptop?!

Lulu, you asked about not earning points on your Tesco CC, I think that you earn extra points per £ spent on the card but you don't accumulate any for an outstanding balance on your card. So you may have £2500 on the card but you're not going to get that much in points every month because it isn't new spends. This is only what I deduced (I have a Tesco CC too) so if I'm wrong someone can correct me!

Well done on finding the clubcard vouchers Dinah! I'm going to check out the threads you linked to, I may have to start getting my shopping delivered from them as I want to start building up my stock of vouchers again! I could do with another 'free' weekend away!

OH added yet another gadget to our house at the weekend  His friend was selling his HD-DVD Drive that plugs into the xbox with 31 HD movies so OH bought it all off him for £45. Because HD-DVDs are now defunct because Blu Ray won the war you can pick up HD-DVDs for very little, so instead of paying £20 for a Blu Ray you can get the same thing for about £5. So the plan is to get older movies that we (well, OH!) want in HD-DVD and save Blu Ray for new releases which should save us money as OH would only end up paying crazy money for films he really likes and wants to own. Guess what we've been doing all weekend?! I was quite greatful for the distraction of new movies to watch though as I've been feeling a bit coldy so it was nice to snuggle under my slanket and doze off to the TV!

I got a slanket for Christmas, luckily there was a hole in it so it went back! I just don't get the point, its not like you can wander around in it, its too long and only covers the front of me!

Birdie - Sister is planning on sending the receipt with the completed form to the insurance company. Along with a copy of the calls to KLM and Ebookers for all the hassle since there is over £20 worth on the phone bill.

Good idea! Hope she gets everything back, what a pain having to deal with a big phone bill on top of all the other hassle!

Dinah, I love my Slanket! I tuck it round me because it's so big and get all warm and cosy. I do kind of hobble around with it on too if I'm just getting up for a drink or whatever... I've even had it keep me warm in bed before- my arms were in the sleeves and everything! I'm always cold and was forever cuddled up under a blanket but had the problem of not being able to do anything whilst cocooned in my fleecy shell so I love the sleeves, it means I can eat chocolate and stay warm!
