Hey ladies

Just got back from hols, and a shiny new thread! Exciting. Flower, I went to Barcelona in Jan and it was quite freezing, definitely bring some warm woolies as well as lovely dresses.

We went to see my sis in Copenhagen, but it was ultra freezing there, -8 during the day and double that at night. But I hear it has been bad snow up north, hope nobody got snowed in.

Welcome back Lara, was Copenhagen nice despite the ridiculously cold weather? Does your sister have a baby? I think I remember something about that! If so, was it nice seeing them?!

Well im absolutly aching this morning after the gym yesterday, dont think i will be going again today!

Not much else to report, OH and i are both off work today so may go for a walk somewhere so OH can take some pictures.

Hi everyone

Hope you're all ok. Tried writing this earlier but then got a call from OH to say car had broken down so off I went to rescue him!!! Didn't post yesterday cos we were visiting sick relatives and taking dogs to vets, shopping etc but I did weigh myself and start the budget thing.

At the moment I weigh 12stone 10lbs and am 5'3" so I'm aiming to get to 10 stone initially and then see how I feel so I have calculated I have 38lbs to lose :eek:

I've also started the budget planner, as I said, but I need to keep that going to check how much money we waste - saying lots isn't very accurate! I've also put the savings down in my signature but I need to sort out putting money away for Christmas etc again so here goes.......... :T

The villa my mum booked for the holiday has been double booked. They offered to provide her with alternative accomadation, but the only thing they have is a two bedroom apartment. The second bedroom is only a single room though.

So doesnt look like we'll be going to Barcelona anymore - so unfair!!

Can you not get accommodation elsewhere? I wouldn't have thought Barcelona would be booked out in Feb? I wouldn't let a single bed deter me from going either. If you have enough Cava you won't where you sleep! Lol!!!!

What a shame Flower! Can you try to get an airbed for OH to sleep on? (you'd get the bed of course!) Or a cheap B&B in the area? I'd imagine you could get quite a good deal in February.
