P.s. do you think I am too old for 30 before 30, seeing I am 28 in a couple months?

I'm 28 in 4 weeks and have only done about 2 things on my list so I say go for it!!

:D That last one was actually my fave of the 'garish' ones - love the idea of your reception!

I'm finding loads of mad dresses now, I didn't know the choice so so big!

We've even found a steel band to play at the reception, they were playing on the Market Square in town on NYE and I drunkenly stumbled over and got their card! They were really good and they're only in Leeds so I'm going to see how much it'll be to book them! Can't wait!

Yep is there problem, they accepted my mums booking after taking another one. Mum is going to ring me tonight to see where the negotiations are at!

Stupid incompitent people that double book!!

Birdie - ooh i love that dress aswell for the reception!

I think they should be refunding your mum and then she can book elsewhere. Did she ask for the money back?

The dress is by Bari Jay (barijay.com), I don't even know if it is a genuine bridal collection, I guess it must be because the collection is called 'White' but they're all quite simple dresses, the designer's mission statement is all about value! Cor, I was just having a look about on their website and saw this one! Maybe a little *too* garish!

I absolutely love this dress. Wow!!!

Just had a call from one of the travel agents, the one who has been really really helpful, I've told her to call me tomorrow and I'll have made my decision. So, now I just need to work out the Maldives resort, Reethi, Kuredu or Kuramathi....

Not sure to be honest, have only briefly spoken to her on the phone. Im sure she would have taken the money if she could but shes supposed to be going in just over a week and is staying for 6 weeks - so it would obviously be the hassle of trying to find a suitable place for that length of time.

Shes going to ring me tonight - hopefully with good news!

I've been to Kuredu (admittedly before they had the water bungalows) and it was AWESOME.....and you get to go on the seaplane transfer (if you want to) rather than a boat, we did and it was lovely.

Good luck with whichever one you choose, I'm soooo envious of you girlies planning your weddings, next time I get married (ha! need to start dating first-, lol) I'll do few things differently and have a great honeymoon!
