Wow to being able to book Dinah :):) Any room for a few stowaways ;)

£400 for an MRI, that's cheap! I was quoted nearly £700 when I had my slipped disk as quelle surprise the GP wouldn't refer me to a consultant to get one done.

Whats up with your foot that the NHS won't fix Birdie?

I'm getting a bunion on my right foot. It isn't too pronounced at the moment but I know it's going to get worse, I've noticed it getting worse in the last year or so and I live in sensible shoes so it's not like I'm asking for it! It already hurts a bit and when I've been walking a while my foot aches something rotten but the doctors won't do anything until I'm in agony all the time. I think it must be in the family because my Mum and her Mum suffered too.

Eeek, doesn't sound pleasant. That would be on my 'to fix' list too (which currently extends all the way to 'stop knee grinding' and 'stop hair having consistency of burnt straw')

Oh god don't even mention hair to me, the underside of mine is all straw-like no matter what I do to it and I'm going grey! At 24! And I don't want to dye my hair because I don't want it getting more straw-like! And I can't afford the upkeep!

    Morning everyone - just!

Been trawling through Birdie's dresses......very bright. I can imagine a wedding venue especially in this weather fainting when someone turns up wearing some of those dresses, they are very bright :rotfl:

Well, OH got into a panic last night cos he needs another car and doesn't have any money. I've calmed him down cos on his birthday in February he should be getting a cheque for about £7k after releasing some of his pension so I've told him that whatever happens he just needs a loan for a few weeks and can then pay it back. I know it's not very moneysaving but at least if he doesn't go mad on the car he can also pay a credit card off and then we can concentrate on my one. Today the car problems continued cos I went to take him to work and had a flat tyre so he was nearly late again but luckily I got him to the brewery on time! I now have to fork out for a new tyre but rather that than a new car!

I haven't moved any money over the last couple of days but I'll see what I can do on Friday when my pension goes in -it's ill health not old age - honest!!!

Anyway, have a good day xxx
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

Yay!!! You must be so excited!!

As for straw hair, I've had hair like that for-ever. Only thing that does the trick for me is Tigi Bed Head 'Heavenly Hydration' shampoo - Costs a bomb but the 750ml bottle lasted me about 9 months. Made my hair all lovely and soft and shiney! Just finished my big bottle and I've switched to a cheaper brand to give my hair a change, but after 2 washes it's feeling like straw again! :(

Well the good news is I've paid £891 off my credit card since the start of the year. The downside is with the honeymoon deposit, the laptop warranty and the amount my mum now owes me, it's actually higher than it was at the start of the year! Will update the sig in the next few days. Really need to start ebaying stuff.

Someone at work just emailed me to say that it's 43 degrees in Sydney and their contact's nanny has taken the children to play at Toy$rus as it's got aircon there, lol.......
