Good on that man!
I know. I need a firm hand to keep me in check! It wasn't a massive amount but it was *very* naughty of me! He's been there, done that and got the t-shirt so he really wants me to sort myself out. I feel so bad that I'm not as good as I should beOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. Well I managed to get let out early. Got home really quick as didn't risk the central line, came back the same way I went. Am now all snuggle dup under the duvet.
Birdie - good job you have your OH to keep you in check like you said.0 -
LMAO just seen the 50p! Did you ever find out how much the wedding is going to be?
Just spent over an hour on the phone to a kuoni holiday person. Currently the best quote we are getting for 5 nights 5* Westin Mina Seyahi on the beach in Dubai and 14 nights 4* on the newly refurbished Kurumathi Island and flying from Manchester is £6395. Now to see if I can negotiate the quote from Newcastle down from £6891 a bit as would be easier to fly from there.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Dinah - I love the last dress for you! Like Birdie said it's just the thing I could see you in. I really like the little empire line bow detail. Well done on getting past the 50% mark too, I'm completely sure you'll be able to get it all saved way before the wedding.
DippyKitty - Hope you're feeling better soon, and that it isn't anything major.
Birdie - I'm sure you'll get on track in no time! Good job you've got your OH to keep you focused.
I've been sent up to bed hugging a bottle of lucozade. I completely understand why Dinah lives off the stuff when she's sick! (Or, atleast, I think it's Dinah) Fingers crossed for the Doctors too btw!0 -

Thanks, will hopefully get a better idea on Fri. Hope you're feeling better soon too! I often find that Lucozade helps too and I practically lived off the stuff when I had all my wisdom teeth out last year :eek:ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0 -
Yep its me that lives off it.
So doctors said its 'something serious' and signed me off for 4 weeks 'to start with'.....Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh no Dinah, hope you are OK! Has he not said what it is?
Hope you can negotiate the honeymoon down, seems silly it is that much more just from a different airport.0 -
Oh jeez Dinah. Sending you big hugs! I second Wendz, didn't he say what it was?0

Mmmm... Lucozade...
Dinah, that sucks about your knee! Is your work OK about paying you for all that time off? I wonder how serious 'something serious' is? Oooh, I hope you're OK!
We haven't got a price for the Weddingmoon yet, we can't book flights until about March so we have to wait until then to gauge how much it'll actually cost but we're going to try and book the actual wedding bit soon so we can get invites out. Luckily we double checked February half term with our teacher friends, we'd been planning on booking it the week before half term (assuming that it was the correct date) so they would have missed it, no good when one of them is my bridesmaid!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Aye work will give me full pay for 6 months and then I don't know if it drops to half pay or no pay, there really are times I love working for the council. I have a doctors note, its not like they can argue. No he doesn't know what it is, all he knows is there is fluid build up behind the knee that wasn't there last week, and he prodded me in a few places and the last place he did it I screamed so he backed away! Apparently just waiting for the MRI can take 3-6 weeks.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
